Oh my goodness! Visiting England is on my bucket list, but I don't think I could ever get my husband to visit there. I have a friend who's sister lives in Bath and every year I try to convince her to hide me in her luggage. 🤣That manor is beautiful and oh the baby farm animals. 🥰 I'm glad you and your hubby had a great time!

You have me SO CURIOUS about "Bitter Bones"- a boy with extra bones that something sinister wants to snatch?!?! Oh, yes... And "Crimson Girls" seems so atmospherically fantastic! Girls-boarding-school is something that always grabs my interest. "Vera Wong" has been on my radar for a while. It sounds so fun! And Luxman(?) is such a beautiful boy 🤩 I'm so glad your trip went well! The countryside and the cute sheep and the manor all look like a dream~

I’m going to pre-order THE ODDS soon! I’m glad you had such an amazing England trip! Thank you for sharing your trip with us! How cool. I’ve never been to Bath. OMG, CRIMSON GIRLS sounds incredible! I know you have your MG horror and YA thriller (intrigued by both)-but Crimson Girls sounds amazing and I love the premise! My horror pilot is also a Gothic horror about a spooky manor where you can’t leave, but definitely different from yours (and very modern). I finished a draft in April and I’d love to maybe write the book version someday. Writing a Gothic horror in a spooky mansion is too awesome. I’ve never heard of Crimson Peak. I’ll check it out!

100% agree that London is super cool but if I'm in the UK, I'm more of a Bath girlie. FYI, if you ever start a blog I would sooo read a guide on what you did in England! In terms of reading, I'm trying to read a few AAPI authors for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month and stumbled across Bitter Medicine by Mia Tsai (her debut) which I was surprisingly delighted by. Has a secret society, a male lead that likes to cook, and prose that is *chef's kiss*

Omg I loooove Modern Family I've seen it so many times it's my go to show whenever I feel demotivated with writing 😂. Also if you liked it I recommend witching the last episode and then watching the first again instantly it feels so sweet and heartwarming seeing how much they've all grown😭❤️
