Great review as always! Love the toppers! Fun fact: if you microwave a sweet potato for 1 to 2 minutes before cutting it, it is much easier to cut!

I’m currently learning how to do my own nails at home to save on some money from getting them done at a salon. When I saw this series I knew it was a must have an especially after seeing your video I honestly can’t wait to get my hands on these. Kelli, I have feels. Multiple. 1) I like the toppers - especially with the combo of holo and iridescent - usually I see one or the other, but not both, so that’s fun. 2) I really dislike having to pick up a set. But that’s how I feel in general about nail polish and I’m picky about my colors. 3) As much as you love cool-toned purple, I love warm-toned purple (and frankly, I’m not too big into cool-toned purple, strangely. Just go ahead and give me blue.) I have to come out and say that missing out on the magenta/warm purple of the Lisa Frank rose was a HUGE MISS, imho. Frankly, I’d have been happy to ditch orange or yellow for such an iconic color. BTW, as I was born in ‘81, I got in with Lisa on the ground floor, u know? My piano teacher gave little gifts for completing your practice record, and OMG, she would totally stockpile the Lisa Frank. So many stickers from that time period.

A tip for cutting sweet potato is to microwave it for a minute and then cut it. It softens it without cooking much and then you can make it however you want! I do this no matter how I’m making my sweet potato and it is so helpful. With chronic tendinitis I can’t cut a sweet potato like normal AT ALL haha

I just got these and put them on yesterday and they are just so obnoxiously joyful, it makes me so happy to be wearing them. I wasn't sure if I needed the sparkly topcoat, but I ended up being glad I got it, on top of the bright colors it has that exact sparkle of those like, shimmery toy plastics? I know I had a spacemaker with this exact finish. Really ramps up the nostalgia factor. So glad you told us about them, thanks :D

Mmmmm I love me a good baked sweet potato!! 🍠 I agree they're definitely harder to cut, which is probably why I don't make fries at home. A baked potato is less effort, so I do like making those, especially when the weather gets colder.

Only wraps I have had do good and last have been color street ones. Most polishes I wear whether they're regular or gel barely last over a week and I've had color Street ones last for over 2 weeks until I just get tired of it and the growth looks bad before I have to take them off.

Hopefully just added the holo/iridescent Topcoat to my Orly order of your 2 greens that I'm hoping didn't ship yet. Holo & iridescent in one coat, with Orly's topper formula & Oz's for $11... sweet. On the polish's page it only said ' iridescent' so I skipped it. Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait for these to arrive.

I'm guess someone has already suggested this but pop the sweet potato in the microwave like you're going to bake it for just like 2 minutes, then cut! It'll make it just soft enough to cut through. Also love these polishes! I need to add some neons to my collection ❤

😭😭😭 Orly does not ship to were I live. Ulta does, but not nail polishes! It sucks because I was a huge fan of Lisa Frank, to this day I still have a binder somewhere in my parents storage room. Oh well, nice to enjoy the swatches I guess!
