So great to hear everything demonstrated in The Foggy Dew. It enhances its characteristics so much. Thanks for the thorough explanation and demonstration of the techniques.

Also, it is such a help for the beginner to see the ornaments notated on the tabs. I haven't gotten the hang of adding ornaments yet. Being able to practice them like this will give me a boost. 🎉

Great video, as always. Its funny, I'm a brass musician (mostly tuba). I have a hard time not tonguing all the time due to those brass habits. I do the tongue cut more than do a regual cut

Thank you so much! And also for playing Chris' whistle again, I so prefere the sound of that whistle over the Lir or any of the others. 🥰 Still waiting for mine, but I saw on his site that he stopped taking new orders till he is back on track with it. I'm glad I was in time to order, I truely love his whistles! Thank you so much for teaching us, Stef, you are awesome! I let the adds run so you get payed a bit over that. I hear if we let them run for 30 seconds, you get a whole of 6 cents for that? Do you get more if we watch longer, like 2 minutes? Or is the 6 cents it, no matter what? Just wondering. Have a beautiful evening/day! Much, much love from me, and a big hug! ❤🤗

I ordered a Chris wall in February 2021, it looks like he’s taking 5 to 6 months to make one month full of orders. At this rate, it’ll be another 2 1/2 years. I hope you can speed it up a little bit waiting 5 1/2 years for an instrument is a little bit out of control I’d say.

@@TheMtnmamma You will have it before me, I ordered in June '21. He has a message on his site, explaining over covid time, (and maybe over CutiePie, who showed off his brass whistle), he got a lot more orders in that time then usual. He says that once he is done with that year, things will pick up and go faster. I hear you, I sometimes forget I ordered them, since it is taking so long. But it seems he feels bad about it as well. I rather wait longer and get a really good whistle, then get a crappy one sooner. ☺I wish you a beautiful day! Hugs! 🤗

Yeah beautiful. I'm working on my vibrato at the moment. I have two methods - diaphragm and throat. Diaphragm sounds better, but if (when) my diaphragm isn't cooperating on the note I can switch to throat very easily. Slower tunes really benefit from vibrato and other ornamentation. I'm they guy sending you notation transcripts of some of your tutes by the way. I know the user name was probably confusing you. KZbin switched from using real names to user names in comments a while back (except for chat in live streams for some reason).
