I tried converting polygonal hair models made with mesh strips to Ornatrix hair, grounding them to a hair cap, and at first I was successful in doing so. However, when I then moved the converted hair model with the hair cap to a figure in another file, I began to notice some odd bugs crop up such as the hair shooting out in different directions or not rendering at all. After many attempts to get that to stop, I finally gave up and resorted to just drawing the guide strands individually and brushing them to fairly match the shape of the original hair model with the mesh strips, and that, while more time consuming, seemed to result in a stable hair model that didn't change when I copied the hair and hair cap and moved it to another figure.

Depending on your setup you may need the ground strand operator and use a constraint for hair cap to head joint. Also fir rigged characters Ornatrix groom needs to be below the rig. The remember roots option should also be used. It does sound odd buggy. Maybe you could send me a file that does this?

I would need to know what you mean by "it not working", is it not working at all? Remember that depending where you put Moov will depend on how and what the dynamics apply to. Also for some cases, short or minor movements you can use the oscillator. The scale of the model will have a huge effect on dynamics as it assumes real world scale objects for the settings you start with.

@@CGDreamsTutorials I have a simple setup to test. A primitive sphere at 50 cm and I have a spline formed for the hair curve. I follow along with the review your doing and when I add Moov nothing happens, no dynamics. I have tried the arrange in the stack in different ways but no change.
