I made a few films about scenic world and it’s orphan rocker rollercoaster. Scenic world lawyered up and demanded through there lawyers that I take 2 of my films down, so I agreed for now. I’m glad this original footage has come out publicly because until now there isn’t any actual footage of it running, myself and others were trying to find this video but never could 👏🏻

The constant pacing, although not a high top speed, clearly had two spots of ejector airtime on top of the rocking. This would have been a lot of fun, especially due to the setting. When I was last there 23 years ago, it was still in good condition with hopes of opening. I had no idea when my ex took me to the park that a coaster existed and I got so excited when I saw it, only to find out it was SBNO lol.

Would totally ride this if it ever opened (and I could visit Australia). Might break necks but it looked crazy. Either way, the concept is awesome, like a more intense, traditional version of the alpine coasters we see nowadays. Sad that the family never got to see it open.

2020 and it’s still not “fixed”!!😂😂 All fun and games in the video but WOW I didn’t know anyone actually rode this thing ever. He was inadvertently braver than he might realize! I heard a report, not certain if true, that when ride dummys (or might have been some type of test sand bags) were used to test it, one of the dummys the sandbag was missing when the train arrived back to the station. I find that very easy to believe actually! The coaster was never opened to the public due to safety issues is what I heard. Regardless of rumor or story, for CERTAIN the “transitions” etc on the ride are rough and very poorly designed to say the least!! Most coaster enthusiasts can tell by just looking that the design is extremely poor, it was designed in house not by a coaster company. Props though to a very creative effort. If designed correctly it would have been fantastic. What a location!!

The last sentence is not correct! It didn't go ahead because it did not meet the safety requirement inspection. The wheel bearings kept overheating/loosening which caused the cars to keep speeding up. I was one of the passengers on the day of testing.
