Aw, a puggle. How cute. Lucky little guy. Puggle is also what they call a cross between a pug and a beagle. 🙂

Fascinating! How special to be the human mum to such a cute little puggle. That name sounds like it was taken from Harry Potter, but of course, achnidnas were around way before J.K. Rowling. 😉

Is is also a marsupial ? In a German-English dictionary it says " puggle" is a dog , its race named : "Puggle"....I do not think this is the case with this little animal . So please, do enlighten me. Thanks.

Along with the platypus, the echidna is the only other living egg-laying mammal species. Almost a month after mating, the female deposits a single, soft-shelled, leathery egg into her pouch. ... Baby echidnas are called 'puggles'. They stay within the den their mother creates for up to a year before going it alone. They are called monotremes.
