I had a nightmare similar to this, where all of my family was in this situation, voices whispering to me that they hate me and everyone does. They weren’t strings though, they were vines. I decided to leave them, running for my life while crying. I tripped and fell into a bunch of vines, getting caught in them and springing up. The vines caught on my throat and the grip tightened. And then I woke up out of fear.

Okay so I'm not sure if people have already talked about what I'm going to say, so I'll say it. I believe that most people are forgetting about the missing poster about Pico in the trailer. In the dream, we see Pico with no face (aside from his mouth maybe it might be his chin I'm blind) and eventually jumpscares the hell out of some viewers and bf, which brings him to the string dimension thingamabob Now, in the Run song, there's actually some other tied-up people in the background, like how gf was. Unlike gf, it doesn't seem like they were saved and are now spending their entire lives there. Considering the fact that there's a missing pico poster, I like to think that Pico is one of those victims. Then again, it may just be bf's dream, but I don't think there was a specified true ending so it's all up to interpretation.
