I had my braces on for two and a half years. Retainers are now worn every night.

Oh wow! How does it feel to have the springs on? I only have power chains but on top and bottom and they are tight as hell. The springs will also be rubbing against your chicks? I wonder if they are so uncomfortable. Anyway hope you can deal with them!

Hey! The springs are fine so far, just a bit tight. Hopefully it’ll move those gaps along nicely and they will close quicker! 🤞🏼

Ah I can imagine! How does it feel after a few days? I guess your tongue is crazy removing food from it haha. Also, how are you doing with the molar bands? Are they painful or what do you feel wearing them? I don’t have them thankfully

@LauraFernandez-mr9di the springs are very painful at the moment. I’m taking ibuprofen and paracetamol because I woke up this morning with the worst jew ache 😣 the molar bands are fine, they’ve never caused me any issues really thankfully 😅

Oh wow really? Did you get better? Is it because it is too much pressure? Or what do you feel? And did the molar band hurt when you got them on?

@LauraFernandez-mr9di yes it’s a lot of pressure for sure! The molar bands took some getting use to but mostly my teeth being put into the right positions hurt most of all out of everything.
