I love Ortho. I have been using ortho for about 2 years. I spray usually once every 2 weeks during the summer. And once every month during the winter. I havent seen many bugs at all. Usually since i have been using ortho I have seen a few dead bugs around. But nothing bad. I spray the trash cans outside the windows the cracks the ac vents the ground The bushes The grass. I have been so pleased with ortho. I noticed when i never used it. I would see roaches often around my house. Stay with it and use it alot. I also keep sinks clean i dont leave water around and i keep my house pretty damn clean. So glad i came across it. I highly reccomend ortho home defense

I have used this product. My home is on piers 7 feet off the ground. I spray around the bottom and top of each pier. I also spray on anything that touches the ground like pipes and we have only had 2 or 3 roaches in this house in 10 years.

Thank you so much! I recently used this product when I discovered, to my horror, 3 roaches scampering in my cats freshly cleaned litter box . I’ve since learned the LOVE the corn cob litter. After a sleepless night I ran to Lowe’s and purchased it. I did follow directions and treated the interior of my home. That was Saturday morning. Wednesday night I discovered 9 dead large roaches 🤢 Mind you, i sweep every night, clean all counters, and no dirty dishes in the sink. I was absolutely disgusted. My point is that, as the label says, it can take up to a week to see results. This treatment has bought me a little piece of mind until the pest control company can get me onto their monthly schedule. Not interested in being a full time do it yourselfer… but needed quick results before a professional could get here. Roaches in Florida during rainy season are BRUTAL!! Thanks again!!🙏🏼🇺🇸

Lord have mercy!!!! I HATE bugs!! That's why I could never live down in the south. I prefer the colder weather because that keeps bugs away. And I spray the perimeter around my house every 3 weeks with the product in this video, especially during the summer months. I keep it up during the fall. Keeps everything good. In the winter time, you see nothing.

Great video. It also breaks down in UV light the fastest. I try and spray it down into the cracks and crevices where it's dark. Works great for me for flies, earwigs, and miller moths.

I have a apartment and black widow in my kitchen. I don't have a lot of money and I was worried about telling the landlord because I looked up the laws regarding stuff like that in my state, and landlords can blame the tenant for the bugs. Unless a neighbor in the same building has also seen it. But a neighbor who lives a couple buildings down has also seen black widows. So I am trying to find out what is easy to use that will keep it under control that I can afford. It's hard to get straight answers on what works for black windows. I do know ms. Muffets revenge doesn't work on black widow spiders. I also have seen black widows outside of the building too😢

I rent houses and I can tell you that Ortho works. If it didn’t work for you then you just used it incorrectly. My man here is right. You have to keep applying it. I have successfully treated 4 infested houses in the last 2 years. The trick is to patiently apply Ortho weekly for 2 months straight but focusing more on the most affected area and they will be completely gone.

I've used this stuff many times. Seems like a placebo on the consumer. I always said this is as effective as spraying water around . Seemed worthless to me. But your the expert. I'm just now starting the video and hopefully will learn what I am doing wrong. Been having a commercial company come to no avail either. Seems like we have more spiders then ever now. Onslaught Fastcap works the best for spiders but as a go to pesticide that comes in a ready to go sprayer this isn’t bad. Just needs more treatments than most

I use this product in my basement for water bugs and anything getting in my house winds up dead laying on its back or in the glue traps I leave in certain spots. My problem is how are they getting in to my and my neighbors houses.

I paid for someone to come out to get rid of kitchen ants. They tried telling me this stuff was a deflector and would only make the ants go elsewhere causing another issue. Well long story short,the company that came out and sprayed did a horrible job. I ended up using the home defense in my kitchen and sprayed everything and no more ants. I literally sprayed every nook and cranny cabinets etc..I just don’t recommend doing what I did because I went ham on countertops inside cabinets etc..

It does not work I cleaned my apt so damn good moved the refrigerator which they were on the back and then they were on the back of the stove. Literally, I started crying I didn't know what to do. I clean every day no dirty dishes at all. What can I do? Both the back of the refrigerator and stove were clean so I'm confused as to why they were there.

So I have carpenter ants that come in every spring. I do happen to have ortho home defense that I bought, but I haven’t ever used it. Should I spray my window ledges where I think they come in and the perimeter of my house where the brown meets the brick.

After I spray this around my home to get rid of ants within 15 minutes they're crawling right over top of where I sprayed it seems to me it only kills them if it gets on them but it's not a very effective barrier but I did notice dead spiders days later

I've always used Ortho Home Defense, but my new apartment has painted baseboards & I find the stream of Ortho is so liquid as opposed to mist, so the liquid is staining the baseboards. Any advice to avoid this? I've been spraying 12 inches away, onto the floor as close to the baseboard I can aim, as opposed to directly on or above them.

The issue with pesticides and any pet is to read the label and be sure to apply accordingly. The label will specify how long a pet or person needs to be outside the treated area. As long as you abide by the label no one will be hurt

I used spectrcide said for indoor/outdoor. Dont they test these products? I breathed that in and coughed and coughed, my throat burned, this was just a little spray in my windows…you have to hold your breath then run out of the room with windows open!! I havent tried ortho, do you need a gas mask to use it?!

Ortho is Stain and Fume Free...Avoid Eye contact and Swallowing and your good just let it dry and its literally an invisible barrier. Wash your hands god after use and you good to go......very good for indoors and outdoors

Video is old but maybe you’ll respond what works for ticks specifically brown dog ticks? Located in AZ and dealing with infestation in home spent $250 on treatment from exterminator (indoor and outdoor) and still seeing them in home this is on top of a monthly $150 treatment (which helps combat roaches, crickets, ants etc) it’s driving me insane and unable to sleep knowing they’re crawling up my walls and furniture. Don’t want to waste anymore money on stuff that won’t work just want my restful nights back!
