Hey, Yehoshua from the video here 👋 In terms of Isiah 53: it's seemingly taken out of context, evidenced by Isiah 41:8 and Isiah 49:3, where it refers to Israel as a servant. You are My servant, O Israel” (41:8) “You are My servant, Israel” (49:3) In terms of christ "rising on the 3rd day." There is a blatant mistranslation of the verse. In hosea 6:2, the source paul used to make his claim in Corinthians, it translates to "after two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence." This source paul used clearly lacks a definitive correlation with christ and is seemingly discussing the people of Israel. In terms of christ dying for our sins: ezekiel (18:20 and 18:21) makes it very clear that no such concept is present in the Bible. "The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him (18:20). But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. (18:21) All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live." (18:22) Additionally, in the times of the temple, we only ever gave a sacrifice for accidental sins (levitucus 4:2) and in cases where our transgressions were not discovered. However, in terms of deliberate sins, there were tangible punishments. Take exodus 22:6 (22.7 in the Christian bible) for example: "If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double." Furthering the point that atonement is incumbent upon us... not anyone else. Furthermore, King Solomon made it rather obvious that atonement can absolutely take place without the sacrificial system (meaning, we atone for our own sins) in kings 8:46-50. "When they sin against you-for there is no one who does not sin-and you become angry with them and give them over to their enemies, who take them captive to their own lands, far away or near; 47 and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors and say, ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly’; 48 and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name; 49 then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause. 50 And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to show them mercy." Just some points that I felt would enhance the general conversation. Nevertheless, a fruitful conversation indeed.

Good respectful conversation. Iron sharpens iron. Have a question for you regarding The servant. If 👉 *X* 👈 shall be *exalted* and lifted up, and he shall be very high and in another part of the same book says “The Lord 👉 *ALONE* 👈 shall be *exalted* on that day” . 👉 *WHO is X* 👈 ?.

You are correct. Isaiah 41 and 49 are clearly referring to Israel as it states "Israel my servant". However this does not automatically infer that Isaiah 52 - 53 is referring to the servant as Israel. In context, it is referring to a singular human figure that will be high and exalted (terms used for God). When this was written there were no chapters or breaks so, as it leads into 53, it continues to talk about this singular person who is despised and rejected. Even if we don't include the word "pierced" we see clearly that he was crushed for "our" (the people of Israel's) iniquities. We still may be able to infer that this servant is Israel, until it mentions that 'because of his chastisement and wounds we have peace and are healed'. The LORD then lays upon him the iniquity of us all. His soul makes an offering for guilt. By 'bearing the iniquities of the people of Israel many shall be accounted righteous.' This infers that those who are afflicting the "servant" are made righteous, given peace and are healed. This disqualifies Israel from being the servant as they were being punished for their transgression against God plus Israel's enemies were also punished by God for afflicting Israel, even those that were used by God to afflict Israel. Those who curse Israel are cursed, not blessed or given atonement. It makes no sense that God would give peace, healing and atonement to those that afflict Israel the servant, as if antisemitism, killing of Jews and taking the people into exile would make atonement for those very same nations that persecuted the nation of Israel. It goes on to say that "he" was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many and makes INTERCESSION FOR THE TRANSGRESSORS (only something pure and sinless could do this), which supports the previous claim. Rashi's interpretation, that claims the servant is the people of Israel, was written during the times of the crusades where Jews were being killed in the name of Jesus and where this aberrant movement who strayed from the Bible and the Jewish roots of their faith persecuted our people. It's easy to understand that his interpretation was influenced by the time period he lived in but a clear and simple reading of Isaiah 52:13-53:12 shows that this servant could in no way be the servant Israel that is spoken of in previous chapters. Many may want to see this servant as Israel but that bias can have people continuing to miss their clearly prophesied Messiah.

Great to see such a courteous exchange between two knowledgeable people. Yehoshua, you correctly stated that there were Messianic prophecies not fulfilled by Yeshua. Namely the rebuilding of the temple, peace in the earth, end of war, etc. I wonder if you’re familiar with Luke 4. Following the temptation of Jesus, He returns to Nazareth and reads in the synagogue on Sabbath from Isaiah- ““The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬-‭19‬, ‭21‬ No doubt you know Isaiah 61. It’s full of promises from God to permanently restore Israel and it describes the Messianic kingdom. Yeshua read from Isaiah 61:1-2 but stopped halfway through verse 2, leaving out “…And the day of vengeance of our God;” Regarding the law of Israel’s kings, Deuteronomy 17:15 says, “you shall surely set a king over you whom the Lord your God chooses, one from among your countrymen you shall set as king over yourselves; you may not put a foreigner over yourselves who is not your countryman.” Yehoshua, Yeshua came offering Himself to Israel as king. He came according to the law and prophets, and He presented Himself worthy in His temptation by Satan where He demonstrated that His righteousness qualified Him to be king, His sermon on the mount where He puts forward the conditions for entrance into the kingdom, His ministry of healing demonstrating His being anointed by God to bring the kingdom to Israel. But Israel had a history. A history of rejecting and murdering her prophets. A history of turning from God and following after other God’s, only to be disciplined so they would turn back to God. A history that included exile and a 40 year desert wandering. Israel’s history IS a picture of Israel’s present. Her promised king came according to the law and the prophets, but Israel rejected Him. Israel would not repent, would not accept His message that it’s not obedience to the law God is after, it’s a regenerated heart that loves God. Israel would not believe His miracles were from God, and instead attributed them to Beelzebub, committing blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Because of Israel’s failure to recognize her promised King, Israel rejected Him and the offer of the kingdom was withdrawn. Because of this withdrawal, the rest of the messianic prophecies you mentioned did not happen. But the kingdom offer isn’t canceled, it’s only postponed. See, just like Israel’s history is a picture of her present, it’s also a pic of her future. When the children of Israel were wandering in the desert on their journey to the promised land, the generation that started the journey was disqualified from entering the promised land because of their grumbling and faithlessness. Instead, God allowed that generation to pass and another to rise up and inherent Canaan. Yehoshua, THIS is the story of Israel and her Messiah! The generation that was offered the kingdom was disqualified due to their lack of faith. So the kingdom was taken away from them and postponed for a future generation that WILL come to faith in the Messiah of Israel. Unfortunately it will be by way of Isaiah 61:2b, “the day of vengeance of our God.” Israel will have to go through the 70th week of Daniel in order to come to faith in Yeshua as Messiah. But those prophecies WILL come to pass, and in the time between Messiah’s first coming to offer the kingdom, and His second coming to rescue Israel and bring in the kingdom, God in His providence made entrance into the kingdom possible for gentiles as well. That’s what the church is. Unfortunately very few Christians have that deep understanding of what the church truly is, but nonetheless this was God’s plan from the beginning. Israel is God’s covenanted nation, and He will keep every promise to her. But those promises are art of a package that includes Deuteronomy 17:5 and the softening of her heart and acceptance of her King on HIS terms: repentance and faith in Yeshua Ha’Mashiac.

@robertstephenson6806 We arrive at the Trinity NOT through a single verse but through scripture in its totality, from Genesis to Revelation.....😊 Example: Genesis 1:26. Genesis 1:26 Has 3 plurals and one singular. In this order.... Plural, plural, singular, plural... How can a plural turn into a singular when there's only one who creates???? The problem with false religions and non Christian cults is they don't put the word of God 1st, they put tradition first, But yet God says, Do not add to MY WORDS...... (((THEY BELIEVE MAN MADE TRADITION OVER THE WORD OF GOD)))! With my good friends the Orthodox Jews they use the rabinical teachings... With Mormons they use the Pearl of great price, The book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants.... With Jehovah's witnesses They use the Watchtower and Track Society's "Interpretation" of The Bible through A perverted Bible.... (( The new world translation)) Which isn't a translation it's a Perversion that they made in which (GET THIS) no one to this day has claimed the Authorship yet.....🤣😂 also the Awake magazine.... With Muslims, they use the Quran.... Roman Catholicism Follows their man made Catechism made hundreds of years after the New Testament. important to note....All these teachings came 300 to thousands of years "AFTER" the New Testament was Inspired by God. Isn't that strange, the word of God says don't add to my words. But yet all these false religions and non Christian cults Don't blink an eye, includeding my good friends the Orthodox Jews...😊 For instance, Orthodox Jews do not suppose to eat meat and milk. But yet, Abraham and his wife served it to the 2 angels and the LORD Just prior to Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed When Yahweh rain down fire-and-brimstone from Yahweh out of heaven.🤯 Did you hear that....How can there be 2 Yahwehs??? Answer: They're can't!!!! God has always existed from eternity past as ONE IN BEING AND 3 IN PERSON. Please feel free to ask me any questions ...I love Turning people to the word of God and not to the word of men. Love you too much not to tell you the truth.😊

1 Corinthians 1:21-23 "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness."...why is the cross a stumblingblock the to Jews?...because they've been taught all their life that the keeping of the law is enough for salvation and there is no need for Jesus...essentially leading to pride in one's religion over submission to the Creator.

Pagan idolatry and lies. Specifically, the New Testament claims that Jesus did not have a physical father. The Jewish Scriptures, however, clearly states that a person’s genealogy and tribal membership is transmitted exclusively through one’s physical father (Numbers 1 : 18, Jeremiah 33 : 17). Therefore, Jesus cannot possibly be a descendant of the tribe of Judah nor of King David and King Solomon. There are even further problems with any attempts to use the Jewish Scriptures to prove Jesus’ genealogy through Joseph, the husband of Mary (Jesus’ mother). For the New Testament claims that Joseph was a descendant of King Jeconiah, who in the Hebrew Bible was cursed to never have a descendant “sitting on the throne of David and ruling any more in Judah” (Jeremiah 22 : 30). Joseph’s genealogy, even if it were transmittable to Jesus, would only serve to further disqualify Jesus as the Messiah. Finally, there is the problem of the contradictory accounts of Jesus’ genealogy in Matthew, Chapter 1 and Luke, Chapter 3. The common Christian explanation of this contradiction claims that Luke’s genealogy is that of Jesus’ mother, Mary. However, this is unfounded, even according to the Greek original. In addition, it has already been established that genealogy is transferred solely through the father, making this attempted explanation completely irrelevant. Even if one could trace one’s genealogy through one’s mother, there would be the additional problem in that Luke 3 : 31 lists Mary as a descendant of David through Nathan, Solomon’s brother, and not through Solomon himself as is prophesied in I Chronicles 22 : 10 of the Jewish Bible. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth criteria have obviously not been fulfilled, either during Jesus’ time or since. Any Christian claims that these final criteria will be fulfilled in a “Second Coming” are irrelevant because the concept of the Messiah coming twice has no scriptural basis.

Abrahamic descent is Abrahamic descent. Believing in Yeshua as hameshiach doesn't magically alter your blood and ancestry. Even when a Jew was led astray in the Tanach Adonai still regarded them as part of his people. Beliefs of man don't change Adonai's will. The only side I ever see hate and discrimination from are mainstream Jews. Reflect on your hate and be better. Blessings of Adonai be upon you my friend.

They supported Hitler and the holocaust, set up laws in the "holy Roman empire" against Jews, forced them to relocate and much more over centuries. Only one thing can be true- Your jesus was a man, born to human parents, with a human father, giving him the davidic line and tribe. Christianity is based in Roman-Greek Mythology and has nothing to do with Judaism. It may be possible that they evolved from Yeshua ha Notzri who is in hell covered in boiling feces for his heresy but the early church fathers introduced their mythology. It is very difficult to even read the NT because we can only read it while sitting on the toilet and then we must burn it after reading it but any well educated Jew that has read the NT and knows it well understands that everything about it is based on mythology. It is clear that the writers of the NT knew nothing about Judaism and from the fables about Jesus it is clear that he never existed. Of course there was a character in history that started the cult that later became Christianity but it wasn't this Jesus character. The "Prophesies" ... LOL... in most cases the curators of Christianity bastardized the writings of the Jews in order to convenes their followers the cult has roots in Judaism when in fact it has nothing to do with Judaism but is anti-Judaism. The messiah in Judaism MUST accomplish several things and if he dies before doing so he was not the messiah and the Jews must keep waiting, the messiah can not die and return. Christianity is an evil pagan cult that hates everyone that rejects their mythological messiah and condemns them to hell, read Revelations. If anyone wants to know just give a story from the NT about Jesus and I will explain why it could not have happened.

@Marijan Ćorluka 1st. tell me his real name and give any of the fables about your Jesus from the NT and I will show you that he never could have done these things and so he never existed. You can give more then one of his fables if you would like.
@Rajul_Jamil
@Rajul_Jamil Жыл бұрын
@Marijan Ćorluka There is no history in Judaism of a person with that name. There is a Yeshua ha Notzri mentioned that the Talmud talks about, he was a heretic and later called from hell to describe his punishment, he said he was in boiling feces for eternity. Most Jews think that was the guy that Christianity was based on. You didn't give me some fables about Jesus from the NT. They prove that the Jesus described in the NT never existed byt was a mythological character.
@Rajul_Jamil

@MARANATHA !st of all I don't believe he ever existed but to look at the story it indicates that it was if his parents were from Nazareth the only reason that they would have left their home to go have a baby in a stable would be because the child was known to be a bastard child and the imbursement would have forced them out. I think it is typical of mythological births like that, the god King comes down and impregnates a virgin and the child grows up to later go up to be a god with his father the King. Now that no one can prove that it actually happened you prove that it did without Christian books. Do you believe Jesus went into the Temple and sat with the Priests to teach them or that he was ask to judge the harlot or he throughout the money changers or he walked on water.??? Actuall all the people that wrote the books in the NT didn't know anything about Judaism or Jewish Law.

Thank you for posting this. I think this is a very good way to preach the gospel by asking people about their beliefs and listening carefully and trying to make sense of it. Then expressing how the parts that we have in common point to the good news of Jesus.

He will hopefully never become a christian. As a Jew, he worships the One and Only true God -- the One who Jesus also worshipped. Only later did Paul, another lost Jew, who never met JC, turn him into a Divine creature

@@Moogles1982 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. - Isaiah 53:1-6 (This is about Jesus, the Messiah. Therefore, Jesus had to face God's wrath on our behalf, though He went willingly. It shows that the idea of simply being a prophet is nonsense, along with other verses such as Isaiah 9:6.) “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. - Zechariah 12:10
