Absolutely, some won’t get over the fact that it’s a clone/Turknelli and hate on it instantly. For me, if it continues to run well and cycle well then I don’t care what it’s called. As long as it continues to do what’s required of a combat shotgun. At that price point, I will definitely be looking to add it to my collection for sure.

Looks nice, but for that price I'd bump up to a Beretta 1301, or save some $$ and consider the 300 Ultima Patrol. I have two Beretta 1301s, and a friend has 3 Benelli M4s, and either are great choices. I have experience with a number of shotguns, and for a tried and true combat SHTF shotgun that won't let you down, Beretta 1301 or Benelli M4 is it.

Even though I already have three other shotguns, I have always wanted an M4, but could never justify the price. That being said, I just bought an Orthos a couple days ago. I’ve shot both an M4 and a 1301, and I have to say, the Orthis can give either a run for its money. The felt recoil is not like your standard 12 gauge. It’s more like my 20 gauge, if that. I got the FDE gun (because it was that or ODG), and while I’m not normally an FDE fan, it looks good. It’s not “50 shades of FDE” like you normally see. I ran it with iron sights, but being that it’s going to be my tac shotgun, I’m probably going to throw a red dot on it, and of course a light. The only complaint I have is, unlike my Remington 870, the Orthos only shoots 2.75” and 3” shells and can’t shoot 3.5”, but that is just nitpicking if I’m being honest.

For me personally I don't usually go down the clone road but do value your opinion on one. I have never been much on having a shotgun but that recently changed when I got a deal I could not pass up. I got a brand new never shot Benelli M4 for $1200. 5+1 round. Thinking of changing out the tube for a 7+1 and a trigger kit for compliance. I understand how people say they are the ultimate home defense weapon but my question to all those folks is "Shooting a shotgun indoors is going to destroy your hearing and anyone else in your family including the dog". That is my dilemma. I really lean towards something suppressed. Anything to save the hearing. Thoughts?

To upgrade a normal M4 to what an S4 is another $1000 or so which for me is too much. I'll be placing an order for an S4, it'll be a nice range toy behind my 1301. Cheers from 🇨🇦

The QC is here and there. There’s been tear downs that show that while some aspects have received more attention, obvious stuff like torquing down screws is missed. Overall I’m glad shotguns are getting a long overdue update however speaking in terms of quality the top tier guns are still holding their reign. Value guns have their place but they won’t measure up when the top rail screws are flying off and the hand guard is coming loose during the first few hundred rounds under normal use.

Well once you add the same options you will have a 4k benelli.

I bought one recently, i never planned on getting an actual Benelli as they never interested me all that much. Is the Orthos "just as good", no not at all lol. But i didn't feel like buying a used 1500-1900 dollar bare bones Benelli M4 or buying a new one for 2k and spending another 1-2 grand on optics and parts. If i was going for a combat shotgun, then yeah I'd buy the real deal. But i already have a combat shotgun, so i just got this as a fun range toy/training gun. The price is a little much, but Imo its a huge leap from your standard Turkish Shotguns and a massive step back from the actual Benelli still.

$1350 for a Turkish Benelli clone, huh? I don't see this being a success.

Jesus, i would out money on calling out majority of these comments who scoff at this firearm and echo chamber off eachother in saying “get a 1301, fck turnelli”. Look at holosun. Everyone scoffed at them for being eotech copies. Look at them now. I HIGHLY doubt that majority of these internet experts have ever even shot a 1301 or a300. Turknelli has a terrible rep, but look at how this is performing here and in other videos. Some things can change and improve. Its all these benelli and beretta purists.

Great video! I wanted a Benelli M4, but the price point is crazy for a shotgun I wasn't sure I'd like. So then I looked into these, much better price, but still wasn't sure if I'd like it. So I settled upon the Panzer M4 and it's been great. Birds, bucks, and slugs. High brass, low brass, it eats everything no issues. So I'm gonna build it and shoot it while I save for the Raider S4. Check out my channel for some short videos of the Panzer. 🤘🏾 Currently has 500 rounds.

I have run the panzer as well it runs but its definitely not as smooth or recoil controlled as this out of the box but can be built over time for sure.

Compare option to option base model vs fully loaded like this there will be an extreme price difference.

People are so f'd up. Everyone that dont have one hates it. They rather have a Baretta, a Benelli, a slingshot. All the people that do have it including the video you all just watched like the shotgun and sing its praises. So if you are looking for a review of something and already have a predetermined outcome in your mind - why bother watching? "Its not a Benelli". No f'n kidding. A tricked out Benelli is over $3k. Ahh but some said below the extras arent needed. If Jesus made a video - there would comments "I rather watch Moses".

Folks always wonder if a weapon will be reliable if its needed for protection, the question they should ask is, do they have the mental and physically capabiliity to operate the weapon in question reliably when things go south? I know dudes who have the best of the best combat proven weapon systems and I wouldn't trust them to guard a latrine and more than few of them are LEO's. Hell let's be honest damn few of us shoot more 200 rounds of shotgun shells in a year let alone breaking in a gun. Lol
