Ortiz first ever tournament debut was at age 19. To enter any, you have to present your passport and national Id as a way of validation. Ortiz is the age he is. 42 now, 39 at the time of this fight. This “ how old is he” bullshit is one of the many ways boxing industry created to keep certain fighters away from certain fighter. You guys are telling me that likes of Ortiz, Riggo and Ugas are competing at the level they’re competing at while being 50+? Get yo shit together and think with your brain for a second. Dumb question. Now guys who are competing all around the world at high level in the amateurs are faking age. And only the ones from Cuba at that. Not anyone else. Just the Cubans.
