Hi Will. Compare this 3L deep shell with the Ortovox Ortler at about $385 USD? I see the Ortler has just one chest pocket. Other comparison? Toughness with a pack? Appears made of same material? Same Marino wool liner? Sizing similar? Thanks!!! Mike in Los Angeles

Doesn't look like there's much between them. Durability might be the main factor though it's hard to tell. What I can see is that the Ortler doesn't have the snow skirt.

Hi Will. The jacket is described as a loose fit on their website. I'm 5ft 8 and 13 stone and simply cannot fasten some of the athletic fit jackets. What do you think? I reckon the Large may be too big. Many thanks

When paired with a good, thick insulating layer underneath then yes. Just bear in mind that the merino lining this has is very thin. Will
