Love four stroke engines, especially the 120's Have mostly the pumper versions and one pump mk1 is frpm the early 90s and the prop still goes supersonic on a 16x8 3 blader! Also have a bnb a supercharged version,

I have a surpass III pumped. The nipples are broken off the pump and it is no longer available. Seems as if it would run fine on muffler pressure with the same carburetor.

I am in the process of transforming the same engine into a regular carburetor engine, I purchased a new carb, back plate and intake from” RC JAPAN” and boy I will tell you including 3 days shipping via Fedex from Japan the final bill was $97.00 , a lot cheaper if compare buying parts from Tower, parts that usually they do not have, look for it”RC JAPAN”

Is the carb the same? If it is, then it sure operate with tank pressure. SOme pumped engines have carbs designed for the pump.

@dmrcflyr2 it has a regulator, but it runs fine.

@ That’s all that matters. As i said in the video, i avoid pumped engines, especially OS ones at all cost. No user serviceable parts and other issues. I’ll take a straight carbureted engine any day.
