Osage was one of the selected First-Nation languages used as "Wind-Talkers" in the U.S. Military during World War One. The others were the Cheyenne, Cherokee, Comanche, Choctaw, Ho-Chunk, and Yankton Sioux.... There might be others I am NOT entirely sure... One movie of note is with Nicolas Cage in Windtalkers is a 2002 American World War Two Movie, directed and co-produced by John Woo. But; as Kevin Costner saids in his: Documentary 500 nations. There is more if U include Canada; Alaska and Mexico. See: The Eight-Part Documentary. Unfortunately; John Wayne and his ridiculously false minions still cast a long shadow!
