Osaka Adventures: Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Castle, Aquarium & more!

Join the #DelaCruzFamilyAdventures as we explore the best of Osaka during our trip from January 15 to January 18, 2025!
Day 0: After arriving at Kansai International Airport from the Philippines around 9 PM, we went to Miro Hotel in Dotonbori, our cozy home for the next few days.
Day 1: Our adventure began at Universal Studios Japan (USJ), where we were warmly assisted by our dear friend Jyogi. Navigating Japan’s railway system for the first time can be tricky, but thanks to Pareng Jyogi, we got there smoothly and had an unforgettable day filled with magical moments and thrilling rides!
Day 2: We started with a visit to the historic Osaka Castle, soaking in its stunning architecture and gardens. Next, we headed to the mesmerizing Osaka Aquarium KAIYUKAN, where we were amazed by the incredible sea life exhibits. We ended the day in Dotonbori, enjoying a delicious dinner at Kura Sushi with our friend Mareng Laarni and her adorable son, Eisen, who treated us to a feast we’ll never forget!
Day 3: Before saying goodbye to Osaka, we had a delightful lunch at Bikkuri Donkey with the wonderful Kishimoto Family. Afterward, we explored Tennoji Zoo, where the kids loved seeing the animals. The Kishimoto family kindly helped us board our night bus to Tokyo at Umeda Bus Station, wrapping up our Osaka adventures on a high note.
This trip was filled with kindness, laughter, and beautiful memories, thanks to our fantastic friends and the breathtaking sights of Osaka.
