Chirashi Sushi (チラシ寿司）is a really popular traditional Japanese food. In this video, I went to the Osaka cheapest supermarket "Tamade", and try to cook inexpensive Chirashi-Sushi at home! I introducing how to cook Chirashi-sushi, and how much the ingredients cost in Local Japanese supermarket!

One time I “ate” wasabi out of curiosity because I wondered why people liked eating it so much with sushi. I never ate wasabi that time so didn’t know what to expect. So I got a spoon and squeezed some wasabi (about the size of a grape) and ate the whole spoon. I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ... that stuff was like fire! 🔥 LOL I wish I could eat more mochi ice cream, but here in the US it’s pretty expensive! About ¥538 for just 6 pieces ... ! One day, Rion. One day. I’m gonna try one of those mochi ice cream recipes at home. As always, love your videos ❤️

Hey Rion, Thanks for the video on chirashi sushi. When living in Osaka, I did shop at Tamade super, but I was told by other Osaka people that when shopping there be careful of the things like sushi and other perishable goods. Noting that I still did buy some sushi and of course ate it the same day. Some days quality was good, others not so good. Look forward to your next video and keep safe. I buy the packs for chirashizushi at the international grocery near my home all the time! I love it so much. I think in the part of the US that I live in, people don't believe comfortable making dishes with raw tuna or other fish, so we use cooked fish. We buy mochi icecream at the international grocery too! They have several flavors, and it is delicious!
