Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2025 Runway Show

For the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2025 Collection, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia celebrate both the organic, unrestrained existence and inherent refinement of nature-a concept first evoked by Garcia’s own watercolor orchid paintings.
Rosehip, lapis and butter yellow enliven the neutral tones which ground the collection, while drop-shoulder silhouettes and relaxed tailoring elevate daywear with liberated sophistication. Orchid flowers manifest in a multitude of techniques. The hero ballet slipper orchid print introduces the group, making way for hand-threaded guipure and orchid-printed gold metal organza-the newest technique adopted by the brand.
A snakeskin concept, first presented for daywear on a timeless structured trench coat and signature cotton poplin dress, sheds from day to night with scale-emulating embroidery on a sleek metallic gold fan cocktail dress and crystal fractal gown.

They truly were unique garments and quite unlike any other collection. The many textures used in creating the garments and the array of designs made it stand alone as a show that deserved being called 'unique'. If only we could choose a few pieces for ourselves?💖👩🏼‍🎨

What a most wonderfully creative and stunning Collection that epitomises the art of fashion and not just rolling out shows due to the time nor season. The textures of the many garments were a joy to behold, whilst the colours and prints were absolutely beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and applauded from my lounge where I was seated when finished. A terrific array of garments that were all very much individuals. Simply seeing this many various textures that the garments were constructed of was a thrill in itself. It's been sometime since I've enjoyed a fashion show this much. If only I could choose on piece? I tip my hat to you all who worked on this event at Oscar de la Renta. Bravo!🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

HATED the two white pieces with black fringe, but literally everything else was exceptionally chic, glamorous yet very wearable. The Tiffany lamp dresses and that asymmetrical black cocktail dress were particularly wonderful.
