Emma Stone- to say brilliant is not enough… easily top 10 of all time; but also one of the best performances since Natalie Portman in 2011' & also, one the greatest actresses of this generation- and that’s saying a lot, because Jennifer Lawrence is also a beast-- But Bella Baxter is on another dimension, I think many actresses would kill for a role like that- because let’s be honest, this is the blueprint now- challenging characters outside the typical biopic, or drama type. Truly brilliant. And to see her twice, with La La Land (totally opposite) THATS duality. I’d say that for now; my top 5 are: 1-Natalie Portman. Black Swan 2-Emma Stone. Poor Things 3-Elizabeth Taylor. WHO’s afraid of Virginia Woolf. 4-Meryl Streep. Sophie’s Choice 5-Vivien Leigh. A streetcar named Desire.

Lily's win would have been an all-timer, but Emma is totally unquestionable. She deserved it through and through And I second the comments saying Sandra Huller is your silver pick

As much as she did not deserve her Oscar for La la land, she gave the performance of the decade in Poor things.... I've always known she's an amazing actress but her turn as an actor with Yorgos Lanthimos.... Academy got it right this year with Emma!
