Wow it must be a surreal experience for him. He truly lived a biopic life. He went from being a breakout action film star in The Mummy to a struggling actor taking any part her could get to getting no parts at all. The road back was long, and he suffered so much. No one deserved this victory more than Brandon. He truly appreciates it and always will. This is more than an award. This is salvation.

I have watched him in films for a long long time but was sad to see he had disappeared for a bit. He really is a phenominal actor and all he needed was a great film to come back. God gave him a second chance in The Whale. He was incredible and I have no words. I hope that this is not the last of him because he deserves more films. Hoping in 2024 he surprises us again. I first saw him in Encino Man and thought he was awesome in that and the saw him in School Ties and was blown away by his acting ability and the story and that movie became an all time favorite of mine and he became a favorite actor of mine from that point on. Loved The Mummy Movies as well not to mention Gods and Monsters and was so moved by The Whale. So happy he won The Oscar and so well deserved. Seems like. Oh, really? He has a bad habit of going off his psych meds and bar hopping, especially on location. Aronofsky had to get a completion guarantee just to cast him. Batgirl was cancelled, so is Doom Patrol and there's a good chance that he's being cut out of the Scorsese movie, which he only got as a favor to his retiring agent. The Oscar will swell his head and make him careless. Good.

She kept him clean and sober and on his meds for 14 years, she picked his best scripts. Then in 2007, he went on location to China, leaving her home with 3 toddlers, went off of his meds, drank like a fish and cheated on her with a male crew member. When he came home he divorced Afton because she didn't want to be a sham wife. Without her to take care of him, he hit the skids. They reconciled in 2016, she helped him get back on his meds and the Brenaissance began. His "girlfriend" is Afton's friend and makeup artist for ballroom and Brendan's new "beard". He doesn't say anything bad about Afton because there's nothing bad to say. His fans should figure that out.
