@@b-dub6865 I thought it was good all they way up to the end. There's a good deal of tragedy and loss - but the quality of performance from the cast is first rate. As a side note- no other production has ever presented the far reaching psychic damage to the whole WW1 generation. And the economic hardships in Britain between the wars. Another fun period piece is "Babylon Berlin". A German production on NF that also gives a lot of historical subplot from about the same period.

What a truly lovely man. A man who knows himself. Has such depth. Confident brilliant compassionate understanding, & above all, has soul. Loves his family, his Ireland, his home, its people, & appreciates his immense talent without being boastful. He has earned the accolades through sheer hard work & encapsulating the world & characters of his roles through discovery. There are very few actors capable as Cillian who put themselves so beautifully into their roles. This is true talent, love of work. I believe he receives so much joy from his craft, & it is evident, & that translates into joy for those who witness his movies & plays. I have always found him to be a very interesting genuine man. Thankyou to 60 Minutes for one of the best interviews I’ve seen you do. Thankyou Cillian.

I've heard what an intelligent man he is. This interview confirms it. And I'm with Cillian when he says he thinks the term "movie star" is a term for other people, because he doesn't really do the whole "movie star thing" and make lots of public appearances out shopping and dining in Hollywood. Instead, he's living a quiet, peaceful life, away from the tabloids and paparazzi. What a genuinely amazing person. I'd love for him to one day write an autobiography.
