I kindly want to ask this: supposed I have a scenario during assessment where NEWS2 score is 0 and monitoring frequency per policy is supposed to be 12HR, can I now say to the examiner that I will monitor patient 4HR because he’s in the hospital instead of 12HR especially for a fall and fracture scenario which patient is for a surgical procedure?

Yes, that will do because the 12hr is the maximum time. Lets say the NEWS is 0 and patient is in pain, you may monitor them every 30minutes because of the pain
