Wow thats impressive. I was looking for „digitakt slide“ and found this. This video also made me realise that never in life will i be able to pull this off when jamming so i will need to buy some 303 synth thingy

Such a great tip, thank you very much. Buying my Digitakt becomes more and more a perfect decision. It´s a deep and komplex piece of gear (but with a great workflow) ...but for me a real musical instrument, too. Thank you for sharing your phenomenal skills helping me for getting the most out of my Digitakt (and as I presume, my Digitakt is waiting to get a little Brother Digitone. :-) ..). Stay healthy and best regard!

You have an algorithmic take on the sound design. A very good tutorial. Much appreciated (my take on this was a bit different).

Cheers! That's the great thing about Elektron boxes - there are "atoms" of sound design that can be put together in lots of different ways to create different effects.

This is brilliant, my mind's already racing with ideas for this. Can I ask what that chord sample you use in the second half is? It sounds so familiar, I really like it
@OscillatorSink3 жыл бұрын
It's a sample I made from playing chords with one of the free Spitfire Audio Labs instruments. I think the pack is called "Tape Orchestra" - pretty sure it was this one: labs.spitfireaudio.com/tape-orchestra

Thought you’d gone AWOL 😄but glad your back with these tips, although beyond my scope, if I get Digitakt I’ll be glad just to get some basic Techno type stuff out of it, I’m not sure as to getting this unit as expensive if not suited to it so a gamble, also how can I if sampling external audio get it all in Key of music as samples might be in all sorts of keys and would clash musically???? I’m new to this so apprehensive Many thanks
@OscillatorSink3 жыл бұрын
It's been a trying couple of weeks in real life so I hadn't had the brainspace to work on channel stuff, nothing serious but an energy drain nevertheless. The Digitakt is amazing, but definitely watch videos of people making music on it from scratch (Jeremy from Red Means Recording posted 2 or 3 'from scratch' videos recently that are great). On the question of keys of samples - you can just re-tune them to fit the current track - or not, sometimes those clashes could be fun!
