The way your sound design has progressed closer and closer to ""Modern"" EDM while still retaining the necessary textures and waveforms to create COMPLEX and FASCINATING geometry is INCREDIBLE. Like I feel inclined to attribute your earlier compositions more as experiential, abstract musical compositions, but your recent works and collabs have included more traditional aspects of modern compositions while still keeping the YOU-ness of it all. Just blown away by your creative accumen, you are truly an artistic pioneer.

Well, most of the pictures are just that high-pitched whistling noise that you can hear, the fundamental audible tones and beats are the primary figures that you have to draw on top of. This is why the Jerobeam music all has same basic palette of tones and timber, there isn't much variation or subtle musical tricks because they add too many degrees of freedom on top of the main gimmick, oscilloscope art.

wild to see you drop something today bc last night I had a dream that humans discovered a new deep sea fish that would emit loud noises from its mouth and when the scientists plugged those noises into an oscilloscope they realized that the noises formed the shape of what was in the water around the fish, including the fish itself. this was how the fish saw, as it didn't have eyes, and also how it communicated with others of its species. and then we started sending messages back to the fish through oscilloscope images, such as trying to explain what humans were and where we came from. it was so far beyond that fish's comprehension (it had only ever known the deep ocean) but it was definitely able to understand what we were saying, and it was able to talk back. it was definitely intelligent life, just not like anything we could have expected, especially not on our own planet. but anyways yeah I'm 99% sure it was your videos that gave me that dream bc I've been watching them nonstop ever since I discovered your channel a couple weeks ago lol so thank you for that

The Earth Species Project is actually performing this exact research for real using AI technology. They have already begun decoding whale and dolphin languages and have successfully talked back.using their own vocalizations. This is one of the most excitiing and important scientific frontiers since the invention of the wheel. Imagine how humanity would drastically change as soon as we are able to converse with animals that can live up to 300 years.

for me one of the biggest drivers of watching oscilloscope music was, that it is displayed on real hardware. some of the recent songs feel like there is no way this was not captured with screen recording of computer simulation, that does not have the hardware oscilloscope limitations. but I might be 100% wrong about this I don't have any hands on experience with oscilloscopes.
