Hey guys, please notice that some fc's needs furthermore to be powered up by the battery ( not only the usb will power up the OSD). I do have a Pico BLX clone and this board does not power up the ports via usb.

I have my minim osd on Uart 2. I put in serialpassthrough 1 115200 and it says port1 already open, removing rxCallback, forwarding data to 1, power cycle to exit. I can not connect the osd and communicate with it after that. I relaunched the OSD program too before connecting.

so now everytime we have to connect we should open betaflight connect and disconnect from it then connect MWOSD?

Not sure what you mean. If you are not making any changes to the OSD through the MWOSD GUI then will just plug in your flight controller and use it like normal. If you do want to make any changes to the GUI you can do this passthrough, make the changes, then when you unplug the USB your flight controller is then back to normal. You just plug in the USB and go back into Betaflight.

yea if I wanted to just make changes to the GUI just connect and open MWOSD, I guess the word passthrough threw me off I thought beta flight had to be loaded for the passthrough to work. I guess the word passthrough meaning passing thru FC I guess,

Why am I having to open betaflight and type in CLI "serialpassthrough 1 115200" (mine is on Uart 2) the disconnect from betaflight, every time I need to connect MWOSD?, that is the only way I can connect ,

anybody out there stupid enough to try and use a micro osd with a cc3d running betaflight?... i had to buy the chrome app for mwosd and serial passthrough didnt work and the ports are a nightmare... no port 1 (or zero) first port is called vcp... second port is called 1, third is called 3 and fourth is called 1, again.... i got the osd to work in the chrome app, but not on passthrough, and i didnt get it to work because of the ports issue, i have main port running ibus and tried flexi port for osd..... brain is melted. giving up till somebody makes a vid.
