I really want a large production monitor but just don’t “need” one. Osee needs to do a giveaway with you 😅

Thanks for checking out the vid Brendan! I feel that sentiment! When I'm packing gear for a shoot I usually think, “I mean I COULD get by without it..” But having used one now, it really has spoiled me and I hate not having it 😂

very nice piece of equipment, I think I'm a ways away from this level of film production type stuff but it's nice to see there are good options out there 👏

I appreciate the comment Allen! I'm not sure what camera you're shooting on, but many of them have very useable apps these days! When I am traveling, I usually opt for the Sony Monitor & Control app on an older iPad mini! That might be a way you can still get the benefits of a larger screen, without some of the "intimidation" that comes with a dedicated monitor like this! :) Pumped to have you here!

Great video, I would like to ask you whether you changed from C70 to fx3? I just bought a C70 and rf15-35. Frankly speaking, I am a little envious of the lightness of the fx3 and the lens group of Sony, but the colors of Canon seem to be more cinematic.

Thank you much! I have since gravitated towards the Fx3 (largely for the reasons you mentioned!) I've been happy with the switch, but there are a few things I miss! Internal NDs and those colors to name a few! Both are obviously fantastic cameras, the smaller form factor was just a bit more desirable for me! Thanks again for watching!
