Not because im an Otomo or anything...but CC is seems pretty competitive herself and that Girl can lock in. Im betting on them to go far...CC reminds of John Wick lol so her focus is high, in terms of gaming skill CC seems to be very strong, as well as quick thinking. I havent watched Zeta much so im not to sure as well as Liz, but for sure Kaela and Bibbo are craxy gamers so i can see how Kronii feels challenged here. @@akumafuhen When CC Zeta did their practice stream, they looked to be very competitive. But the bigger problem is not about their competitiveness but ping. By far they will have the worst ping vs other teams. Erb Kronii ping should be similar to Kaela Bijoe and Calli Kobo, probably can be higher depending on where in Canada Kronii is. CC Zeta ping should be around be mid 200ms to low 300ms. Others should be under 100ms. When CC Zeta practiced speedrun strat, it failed most of the time not due to the lack of skills but because of the ping.

Seriously, Grindstone gave everyone a no pressure and then suddenly the other teams went all out in their practice. Currently the one I saw who can be strong opponents were team towa-chihaya with almost the same path and skips then a good ping was really fast and can reach grindstone. Then there's niko who did a solo practice last night and reached 1k in 20 mins. Can't wait for the sweaty tournament.

I feel like the reason why Kronii gets so competitive is due to her mom. I remember in another clip where she talks about her mom does dancing and working out. She talked about how her mom was so much better at than her. So, I feel like Kronii comparing herself to her mom kind of contributed to Kronii's competitive nature. I mean sure there being a "tournament" within the Hololive talents at the game is part of it, but I feel like her comparing herself to her mom is another part. It seems like a lot of the skips are safer than the normal route because they're pretty reliable and avoid a lot of dangerous sections. Like their skeleton skip is really consistent and avoids pretty much the entire section.

I think JP pairings are going to have an edge simply because of the lower ping between them. Since this game require coordination, having low ping is going to be an advantage, especially with the game being built with one character can affect the other one. Also speedrun strat is not exclusive to Grindstone pair. Edit: of course this is all assuming overseas members are playing from their home. If for some reason Kaela is in Japan during the competition then yes, the chances of Grindstone pairing becoming the best is higher. Having said that, don't underestimate JP pairings since they can be really competitive. Anyway, several ID members are in Japan right now, including Kobo, thus Kobo Calli pairing will have the least ping vs other overseas pairing unless Kaela is in Japan too. I believe Cc, Erb, and Kronii are staying in their respective country.

Towa's New Year tournement, which is more of a gaming marathon similar to the sports festival, and it's to replace the New Year Mario Kart tournament.

There's a whole big gaming tournament going covering 6 or so games. Participants are split between three teams, and they chose which game(s) they were interested in playing with each other against reps from the other two teams. Placement at the end of a gaming session earns points for each group, totalling up to a cumulative team score. Top team gets the prize money on tap for the members to use towards something they want to do individually. Kronii and Liz decided to participate in the Chained Together portion of the event, and boi... do they have some competition.

I don't know about singing, but that is how you should practice. The bad habits can form if you keep messing up at the same part. The speed runners practice at the hard part if they have access to saved states, but they mostly start over if they don't.

'Tis why if one is "gameing", there is no room for "playing" anymore. That is the moment, where fun factor is eliminated, and game turns into a sport... 😒 That was the first time, I was genuinely angry at Kronii. Thank Lord, Elizabeth withstood that wave of anger flawlessly, what made the second half of the stream a splendid thing to watch. And the "Tiktokers" at the end - simply delightfull! HUZZAH! 😏

You eithter "play" or "train sports". One gives pure fun, the latter can bring joy, but also tension, stress and frustration. 'Tis not worth it. 'Tis why the Warden started to have an actual fun - when she gave up tryharding in order to achieve a better sync with Queen's approach. 'Tis when she started to overall perform better, to think outside of the box, instead of taking the same routes over and over again. 'Tis why it was better at the end. Lord bless the Queens! ⚒️🔥⚒️
