This stream further convinced that Mio is so fast at throwing jabs lmao, like in 2:05 where Mio immediately follows the question with a boke. You can find other moments too where Mio quickly follows a joke either with another joke or retort. I don't think there're any other members with this kind of fast-paced comedy, so unique. Edit: after some good insights in the replies, I think it’s leaning more into “quick-witted” rather than “fast-paced”. Seeing it technically, it is indeed fast, but I guess Mio’s jokes just click so much that I’m seeing it different than others.

Subaru is fast too, almost in the same level of Mio. Actually, SM OK is the fastest tsukkomi boke interaction in the whole Hololive. Also arguably, Pekora is faster than Mio when in 3rd Gen Collab, and when Mio is specialized in tsukkomi only, Pekora switched so fast between tsukkomi and boke - giving her the famous Comedian title.

@@QRenjo Indeed, I think Mio's tempo is closely related to how SM OK usually execute their skit. Subaru--while I also agree that she's fast--imo is more into 'hard' when doing her tsukkomi. There's a noticeable difference in tension between usual Subaru and tsukkomi Subaru, and a slight pause indicating "let that boke sink in first". It's even better with her 95dB lmao. In other hand, Mio's tempo just flows, like it's naturally coming out of her. Also, contrary to her image, Mio's actually quite bold and brave in throwing a diss. This is also what differentiate between Pekora-style and Mio-style. Most people expect comedy out of Pekora, further multiplied by her gold comedic skills. While in Mio, they expect a warm miso soup and a good laugh, this is what makes Mio-style comedy sounds unique--it comes out of expectation. Do note I'm not trying to compete them, just want more overseas fans to appreciate Mio's effort in providing entertainment. I think the word you're looking for here is actually 'clever'. I can think of multiple girls in Hololive that are quick in their comebacks, 5th gen, Coco, Towa, Luna, Watame, Marine, Pekora, Korone, and Mio, just to name a few. I think you have to be quick-witted to keep up with anybody in Hololive. But not as many comeback with a clever joke that shows how good of an observer they are. I think what Mio differs from with her humor is that her jokes show how she's paying attention to the people and situation and specially tuning her jokes for that. Many girls use reaction or jabs but aren't always fine-tuning their jokes, i.e. they could be used in more than one situation. However, I would have said that all of 5th gen were like that, especially Lamy here in this clip, she's good at retorts and making jokes that especially pertain to the situation. Same with Polka, if you have ever seen her Legend of Polka clips.
