It was kinda like that for me at first, so I didn't really like it at first during the first few listens. But it grew on me, and it's one of my fav songs from Yoasobi now.

I actually do like the rap parts, even through my first listens. it's just probably a little something about the rap that made it a bit off-putting for me at first, (but I don't really mean it in a bad way) so it took two more listens for me to adjust to and love the song since I wasn't used to it at first. Perhaps it might've been because the intro rap had a kind of different tempo and beat compared to other parts of the songs, or the way the rap flowed into the next parts of the song, so it would be understandable that it would take a few more listens for some people to get used to the song and grow to love the song. Um, I hope you aren't angry just because some people have different opinions of the song. I love Yoasabi and her songs a lot.

I really love the chilling male vocals that come at the beginning and at the end of the opening. It sort of symbolizes the darker side of the entertainment industry that we fail to see as average citizens. The bright upbeat voice is all a facade until you look into the lyrics; then the darker vocals follow that shining voice almost like the darkness surfacing among the sea of false innocence. It's quick and short, if you look away for one second you'll miss it. Entertainment is built upon lies, the viewers put these idols up on a pedestal and worship them as if they were deities. But the reality is that idols are just like regular people; they feel happiness, they feel sorrow, and they want to fall in love. However, a perfect being can only be created without these emotions. After all, being perfect is not human.
