Killers would be the opposite, going after her would only validate all her talents, exact opposite of the cyber bullying. It would have the opposite effect, she'd have an unbreakable will. When put in a dangerous or tough situation she'd have the nerves of steel. Aside from that...knowing the profession she's going into, she would commit to learning and becoming a master in several ways to defend herself. I pity any killer who would try to go after her. I always enjoy watching your Videos. I am a fan of Kana, but I would like to say just one thing for the honor of the kind-hearted Akane. The nuances of the Japanese language may be difficult to convey, but Akane has no ulterior motives and is genuinely concerned about Kana. She has told Aqua that the next time they have a meal, they should at least reserve a private room, so there should be no intention to put Kana in a difficult position. I feel that Akane's way of thinking is typical of a Japanese person.

Yeah, I agree with you as an anime only person. Akane is smart, but she needs something to work with to get things done. The only way she’d be able to find out that they’re reincarnations is like if something they say is so obviously like doesn’t make sense to a time period. I think Ruby and Aqua would have to say something that doesn’t fit who they are now for her to even think of a possibility like that, but that thought process is so left field that I don’t know how she would get there without like a bright neon sign

If she finds out whose body this is, and learns when he disappeared, it could be enough for the wheels to start turning in her head. Gorou Amamiya was the Sensei Ruby loved, right? And he was also someone Aqua knew a whole lot about, right down to something embarrassing like “he wanted to be a surgeon, he just became an OB/GYN because his grandmother jumped to conclusions and he didn’t have the heart to say no”. Clearly he was close to both twins. Okay, makes sense as far as it goes… Except that he disappeared almost 17 years ago. Right around the time the twins were _born,_ in fact. There’s no way either could’ve ever met him. This, from Akane’s perspective, is _impossible._ The known facts contradict each other. Something isn’t adding up. Does that mean “reincarnation”? No. Hell, “time travel” is just as likely. But something’s screwy, the twins are hiding something, and the only link seems to be that hospital. For that matter, how could they know Takachiho as well as they seem to? Akane has a pretty good idea who their mother was, and she started working in Tokyo again just months after they were born. Were they kept hidden in Takachiho for their first years? Does that fit with Ai’s personality, or Aqua’s degree of attachment, or the age when he had his first film role, or the fact that he was at Ai’s apartment when she was murdered? Who would they even have stayed with, given that they don’t know who their father is and their mother had no family connections? Once you start asking the questions, they don’t stop. How to investigate answers is another story. The hospital would never disclose information on Amamiya’s patients to her, so I don’t think she’d be able to coax details from Ruby and search for a patient who matches. She MIGHT be able to take a good guess that he was Ai’s OB/GYN. Aside from that, maybe try to find out more about the twins’ history in general? Find an excuse to talk to Miyako, ask her about when they were little? Talk to Gotanda too? Anybody who knew them could tell her they were super-smart and articulate back then (no doubt she’s heard Gotanda call Aqua “Precocious”), though it’s not especially obvious now, at least with Ruby - and even in Aqua’s case, you wouldn’t guess he was reading The Law of the Orb Weaver in preschool. Less like their intellects developed quickly, more like they started out with the minds of someone 10, 20, or older and their bodies have since grown to match. …You know, now that I lay it out like that, maybe reincarnation _would_ pop into her head as a potential explanation. And if she realizes Aqua wasn’t looking for a pet’s body, “Aqua is Gorou Amamiya reborn” works to explain how he knew so much about him, even that he’d died in those woods.

In Episode 1, they show a brief shot of the stalker walking up to Gorou as he's dying, so I think it's probable the stalker hid his body. If he'd left it there, the police would probably have thought it was an accident, but the stalker might have panicked and hid the body thinking it would somehow implicate him if it was found. Or maybe there was a deeper reason we have yet to discover...
