It's not about the environment. It's more efficient in the field. Fuel logistics takes a lot of people and resources.

Out of curiosity, in the beginning of this video Oshkosh mentioned improved fuel efficiency compared to what? If this vehicle is 15-25 mpg w 350hp then hats off, if this vehicle is less then 10 mpg w 350 hp then we need to talk. 15-25 mpg is very doable with min 350.hp including state of the art VCR technology. It never hurts to be the best at everything including high mpg, the army-industry run on its stomach and mpg simultaneously. The army r as efficient as the soldier and his logistics. More than double your mpg, music to my ears. Try me.
