This video was so helpful, however if there’s one thing I should add it’s that scorebunny and chimchar together make a great duel hunt, and that if you do picnic resets where you shiny hunt duraludon, it will be very easy to get. With one sandwich, I got two score bunny and one chimchar (but I also have the shiny charm)

For charmander,go to the ramp overlooking the tree area you just stated, then if no shiny charmander spawns, reset the spawn by going in the tunnel for abit then go outside again, works like a town reset, hope this helps

For cyndaquil, once you get your spawns you can jump down. I throw revaroom out at the cave entrance and jump back up to the corner that makes them spawn. Revaroom will continuously knock them out until you get a shiny! 💪

I've already gotten a Shiny Oshawott prior to the DLC via the Masuda Method to use him for the Indigo Disk as a Hisuian Samurott, but I'm tempted to go for another Shiny Oshawott just because Oshawott is my favorite Pokémon, so this has been helpful! Thanks!

Charizard is the best shiny starter hands down. I hatched a charmander in shield and transferred it over a couple years ago and found another shiny charmander while hunting for fennekin. Greninja is definitely the second best. The red and black on both of these pokemon just look sick and badass. Plus those are my two favorite colors

For charmander use the entrance of the terrarium as a town reset u can see between 40 to 45 Spawn minute

an easier way to do rowlet is to use a grass/flying sandwhich at the central plaza, and keep going in and out despawning and respawning the rowlets quicker

Right now, I find Cyndaquil no problem. I just use the fire type sandwich and then then I hang on the wall on top of the middle ledge while lots of cyndaquil spawn. No need for outbreaks. The only problem is Totodile… Even if I use the water type, Dewpider will appear too…

@@exfluffbucket Yes! I finally caught 3 of them each sandwich. The reason there was 3 Spawns is because they spawn from 1 spot but one Cyndaquil isn't moving from that spot. you have to get rid of the one to continue.

I literally found a shiny mudkip first sandwich because it’s such an easy hunt like less then 20 seconds being in the cave and I found it I also shiny hunted for duraludon and trapinch and successfully got shiny for those two. I also found a shiny doduo randomly with the shiny charm and that was my first indigo disk shiny.

I recommend not to use the Synchro machine for shiny hunting. I recently lost a shiny Treecko by using it, it will despawn all the encounters including the shiny when you exit the synchro machine function.

Even a Mass Outbreak doesnt increase spawn rate (cyndaquil), the increased odds do make a significant difference.

Over 100 resets with an encounter level two sandwich and nothing appearing. I just wondered if you could give a realistic idea of how many resets it took you to get one?

FYI to all on the Cyndaquil hunt: you can just exit the cave and re-enter to respawn all of them. May be a bit faster than the picnic reset

I do not get people's obsession with picnic resetting. For instance with the Mudkip spot you can just move back down the tunnel and forward again resetting them all.

Totodile Mass Outbreak spawns in two locations, however only use the one that is shown in the video. The one that isn’t shown is a much smaller pond, much harder to despawn them, way less spawns, and way more other pokemon around that will get in the way. Currently trying to use this location to shiny hunt and it’s the second hardest hunt I’ve done in this game, behind Ditto which I hunted for weeks and never got.

@Osirus I'm a bit confused about the Indigo Disk DLC because I thought you have to beat The Way Home Storyline and Teal Mask Storyline to unlock the Indigo Disk DLC which I haven't even beaten the last three Gym Leaders and have to defeat the last Team Star member Eri and some how I'm in the Blueberry Academy now!? 😲🤷 I haven't even beaten the Teal Mask Storyline there!

Truly great! I haven’t had a totodile or Chikorita in over a decade!! (Heart gold Soul Silver in 2009. I believe is when they were last available!! ) Edit I guess you can get it in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl which I got as a gift. I do have that game but I don’t have many hours into it and it’s an annoyingly long process it seems😂😂😂 The thought was nice but BDSP is very disappointing. So the last time I personally had one or both was in 2009 !!! Far before HOME. Cyndaquil is more available being in PL Arceus. Never mind Emboar or Serperior too. Sheesh 😅😂😂😂 ❤❤

The snivy Hunt was right before the Totodile, I think the lag from the hundreds of date resets I did for the outbreak made it appear like that, super weird but tbh Im suprised I didnt crash my game those notifs seemed like they were going for days

Yeah it’s weird the snivy shiny was right before the cyndaquil outbreak hunt and then the totodile after it, because I did so many resets the lag was still happening with the notifs 😅

I hope you manage to get the Chikorita outbreak soon, have you tried setting up a level 2 encounter power sandwich for grass types and being in the coastal biome when resetting the date, this might help it appear on the map a little quicker

@@xRoycex Fair, the coloring can make a lot of shinies hard to see. Chikorita (and it's whole evolution line) are some of my favorite pokemon of all time. I'd love to have their shinies just cause how how I'm I'm attached to them, mainly cause I'm nostalgic for the 2nd gen, where chikorita was my first starter in any pokemon game

This outbreak should have finished a couple of hours ago, did you try connecting to the internet that normally does the trick once the run period of the event is over. hope this helps :)

Can I ask since I’m not the best shiny hunter… when I hunt mass outbreaks- as I’m knocking out 60 of the mass outbreak spawns I’ll always get a few messages saying that the number has decreased or is definitely getting lower, right when I’m around 60-ish so by the time I do get to 60 there’s no more spawning or much less anyway. Am I doing this right? Is that supposed to happen? Do I just ignore it? Thank you!

You definitely can knock out 60 just don't do it fast or less mons will spawn and it's not 100 needed I found shinys without knocking any out
