I am white but my grandfather was 1/4 Tsalagi and didn't learn much of anything about his culture and it was so cool to get to see chuj play in Cherokee NC last year! Grandpa would have loved to had been there!

I am not a Native but I am from Oklahoma and I just found this. When I was a child, our parents would take us to Anadarko to attend the powwows almost every summer. I was fascinated to watch and enjoy and learn more about the people around me. What a joy you must feel to share your love of your language and your music! Thank you.
