I feel like it shouldn't need to be said, but jeweled lotus allows for you to have a turn 1 Oskar as the lotus goes to the graveyard reducing the cost by 1 and as long as you have a land on t1 as well, you can cast him

And on top of both your wins, angel's grace ;) I like to put emergence zone in most of my decks that can afford it for basically the same reasoning as you said in the video. It's especially nice with crop rotation. Another card that's good is geier reach sanitarium, player 4 crop rotating it out in your example would have killed both Thassa's Oracle players. Instant speed + patience is very powerful.

Amazing video. Some suggestions: Unfulfilled Desires can trigger discard, draw cards and let us cast at instant speed only for 1 generic mana. Surgical Extraction can be cast for free and stops graveyard combos. Magus of the Bazaar 2 mana bazaar on a stick.

Ledger Shredder is great in this deck. A small note - effects with discard as a cost of activating that let you draw are great with tutors to the top of the deck because you cast it and draw the card (almost) immediately

I'm actually really surprised to not see bone miser in the list. Sure it doesn't allow you to discard, but any time you discard to cast from Oscar, you get bonus value. Even with the examples in the video, massacre, deep analysis, etc will draw you a card while allowing you to cast it at the same time, which will help you get through your deck even faster

I think Bone Miser is much better when you win as soon as it enters play, like in Toluz. Toluz is a turbo combo version of this deck that plays with a robust "storage" unit, so Skirge Familiar and Bone Miser offer alternative lines to win and more access to resources. Oskar doesn't need any of that, because it's not planning to win ASAP, it's planning to sneak in the win as safely as possible at any time it has priority. It doesn't need alternative lines or sudden masses of resources to force through a win at sorcery speed on its own turn like Toluz, it just needs exactly one line to win but at the perfect timing, which is why Bazaar is the S tier card in this deck and not Necropotence.

I have been thinking of adding it. But not yet. I kinda wanna test it a bit. I am playing it a bit now and then and the deck changes now and than. Might have it in sideboard so people know that is is an option for it.

I think you moxfield list has 2 Necropotence, maybe a Phantasmal Image would be a good add? Copy a Dockside or Thassa’s Oracle :D

If you have Led and discard your entier hand you get mana and can now cast thassas and consolt from the Led mana.

yes you can! that is the big trick here. we can cast thassas in instant speed. Or well the entier deck is in instant speed with oskar and discard effeks.

as soon as I saw this I was annoyed with myself. I had built a self discard scarab god for the local tourneys that was doing quite well. it's rather rare to counter a reanimated thoracle but regardless I took it apart to build self discard prosper not long before this was announced now i want to go back. I love playing shadow of the grave, and getting bonuses from skirge familiar and bone Miser. it's a dream to have an even better containment Construct in the command zone.

3:26 I don't know if you can cast them for free after discarding. I thought you can only choose one alternative casting cost, either for free or after discarding. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's like when you enable flashback on Cyclonic Rift and you can't choose flashback for overload. It's both an alternative casting cost.

I'm pretty sure it works. Oskar doesn't enforce an alternate casting cost, he merely provides "permission" to cast to the spell. If you have permission to cast a spell and aren't forced to use an alternate casting cost, you can declare any other available alternate and additional casting costs you want.

yes. it allows you to play it immediately. But you can't w8. It has to be the first thing you do when they are discared. If you discard several cards they all go onto the stack. So if you discard a sol ring and a mana crypt and cast both. They will both be on the stack togheter. But you can schoose what order they resolve.

Could I get your thoughts on a card I've been testing in Oskar? I've been having great success with artificers intuition, using it you can pull all your fast mana rocks from the deck at instant speed, with many of them paying for the next one, and at worst one blue per rock. It's led to some ridiculous games but admittedly I've only started brewing this deck less than a week ago.

You have to cast it the moment you discard it. It has to be the first thing you do or never.

should remind people they need keep decent removal because common cedh spells like Dathri Void walker and Draneth magistrate will effectively stop your win at instant speed, forcing you to win at regular speed like peasants

I think deep analysis does not help with the strat at all. It makes the deck weaker to dranith Magistrate and gravehate effects, which it already cannot handle.
