If anybody is serious about visiting Turkmenistan, apply for visa in Ankara, Turkey and apply for a transit visa for traveling from Turkey to Uzbekistan through Iran and Turkmenistan, getting Iranian and Turkmen visas this way is almost 100%!! Turkmenistan isn't bad as much as North Korea but the country has severe problems, during Soviet era there were very limited efforts to develop the country expect it's gas/oil industry. After Turkmenistan became independent in 1991 the government inherited this gas industry and now the country doesn't really have a private sector and vast majority of people work for the government which makes it the absolute power in the country without any checks nor balances. Turkmen private sector is slowly growing but it could take decades because the country has only 6 million population and vast majority of the country is just desert...

Looking at this video as a Kazakh when I'm about to board the train in the Netherlands to go from The Hague to Rotterdam - what a contrast! I have never been on trains in Kazakhstan or other Central Asian countries, only in America (Connecticut to NYC Grand Central Terminal), Germany (fast ICE trains), and the Netherlands where I currently live

Ok guys, my first class bedroom compartment on Amtrak’s long distance US routes (which I’ve taken several times) look like heaven compared to this “first class” compartment. Hope you did a “Silkwood Scrub Down” after you got to the hotel!! 😂. Love your vlogs! ❤️🌈

"I would just take the fast train, it was so nice, nicer than trains in Europe"... Um, the fast train is European. It's a Talgo from Spain.
@OskarandDan3 жыл бұрын
Yup! But far from all countries in Europe use Talgo :)
@GrantMcWilliams3 жыл бұрын
@@OskarandDan No, but Amtrak does in the Pacific Northwest. Seimens and Alstom trains are just as nice which most of Europe does use.

As a gay guy myself, who has travelled extensively including to central asia, I find you guys to sound unbelievably precious. You're in a developing country, obviously things wont be up to Swedish standards. You should probably stay home until you lighten up a bit. I bet one of you is a Taurus. You also sound like the gay couple in American Dad.
