Undoubtedly a classic. I named my cat Osker in high school..38 now and this album is still in rotation.

Same. I'm 41 now and still baffled (or more than ever) by how good this album and Osker were in general.

After Osker, Devon had a folky band called Fingers Cut Megamachine and now makes music under his name, Devon Williams. I'm a fan of all of it. This will always be in my top 5 albums of all time

back in these epitaph, punk o rama days, i felt like i was the only one who liked osker. i was such a huge fan. i liked devon williams later work, but when i was kid god damn did this album get to me. im drunk and walking down memory lane. DAMN were fragile and wrong

Same. I couldn't understand,and still can't, why they weren't more recognized. To me it felt like one of the absolute best bands regarding song writing and sincerity in this genre. Showed them to one friend who also really got them and he was also blown away. Great band.

Fantastic album. Truly a shame these guys didn't last longer. They clearly had some issues. I saw them live in late 2000/early 2001 and for their 30 minute set they played a total of 4 songs because they were rambling and joking around most of the time. It wasn't funny.

@@matthewmcginn5800 either way it's a bit reductive to try to label this band. Kinda the same with most bands, arguing over what genre you think they are is dumb. It's subjective.
@matthewmcginn58003 жыл бұрын
@@steveking9146 yeah you're absolutely right. I was listening to this ska band called between the buried and me the other day. It came on after this gangster rap song by Garth Brooks was on. I was really into the new Taylor swift's deathcore. Categorizing music by genres and sub genres is totally subjective.
