I am so in love with this family since 1972 now I'm 62 years old. I still get emotional listening to there music. My heart aches knowing I will never see them perform together again. Hard to believe it's all over. I will love them forever.❤❤

I hid it from my family for 34 years! I truly regret that I wasn't strong enough to own it! I can now hear much better with my hearing aids! Love you all!

I fell in love with this when I got their first album for Christmas too many years ago and while it's gray and scratched, it's still my favorite. Merrill had such a raspy voice on that, that any rock singer would have killed for. I'm so grateful for this platform that allows those of us who were there going through the teen magazines every week, taking out posters for our bedroom walls. That was so long ago, and I feel bad that this family has had to work SO HARD for what they have after their "empire" was drained from them years ago. They could have just enjoyed grandkids without working unless they wanted. I would not want to have been in their shoes to have done all they have. God bless all of you Osmonds!!!

Such wonderful examples to follow. I have always loved this family. They never caved in to the peer pressure in show business.

thank you for loading this to share, i very much injoyed watching everything,------- i was thinking with marie, how even more heartache came into her life after these videos were put in here, where she and her husband did end up with a divorce, and she gets back together with her first husband steven, and if i heard correct they were sealed in the las vegas temple, and her son michael took his life, i do admire marie. and each one of these brothers have a lovely voice, ..........................

The Osmonds singing He Aint Heavy just as good as The Hollies

I don't think the people to whom this song means so very much would agree. The Hollies Allan Clarke sang the song with a much more emotional and fragile ? feel to it.

I have Marie's song still to upload - 'How great thou art'. Will get around to uploading it soon, lots of fans have asked me to do so, sorry for the wait.

@pamana111 Sorry I don't think so. I recorded it from BYU-TV, but after uploading the songs, the recording somehow got deleted, luckily I saved it to KZbin first! Thats what happens with 6 kids in the house!

Вот где популярность, до старости лет.

Probably just being handicapped in a world of "fully well" brothers and a sister takes humility. What most people don't think about it is it has nada to do with their singing ability more than likely that makes them overwhelming.

No. The Hollies released it in the US on Dec. 1 1970 and were the first to have a hit with it, although Neil Diamond actually recorded it first. The Osmonds recorded it on their first album in 1971.
@LG-kl3co Жыл бұрын
The Hollies recorded the song in June 1969 and it was huge hit in UK and many other Countries. Whilst not wanting to bash the Osmonds as performing artistes, they do not do the song any favours by switching to up tempo.

Never! More than that, there are so many people who aren't even (I don't think) when they struggle with stuff caving into peer pressure but just hitting their breaking point and making wrong choices--that never never never happened with them.

Anne, Merrill reached a breaking point where he tried to take his life and Marie suffered from depression. They are a great family, but they aren't perfect and I am sure things went on that we don't know about.

what did donny do that made you cry?
@wendymarksfiolek22909 жыл бұрын
Gee, Anne, you always talk like you know everything about the Osmonds and always have an opinion. I saw an interview back in the 80s where it was very hard for Tom because he knew that if he could hear he would be performing with his brothers. He said they made him feel sometimes like he was incapable of doing things. Don't refer to them as handicapped. I am sure they wouldn't appreciate that.

I never get tired of hearing this. I look when Merrill starts the song. He is a much better singer than Donny.
