I only recently discovered your KZbin channel and was instantly hooked. I love how you delve into the historical roots of a technique, providing insights into not only how but more importantly why a waza was done a certain way. This has immensely broadened the range of applications for me of these techniques in sport and in actual combat. I am delighted you emphasize the original true Kodokan Judo, which was a true martial art and not just a competitive game. Thank you so much Jun, we're glad these videos are helpful. Riki sensei saw this comment on Monday and proceeded to give us an osoto-otoshi class! The main camera with the lapel microphone audio failed for some reason, but I think I'll be able to scrape something together in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

The Kanji on the Judogi is Riki or Chikara; meaning strength or power of mind, body and spirit.
