Not exactly correct: there were many cultures in bronze age in Europe. Indo Europeans (germanic, celtic, etc) came later to the territory of Europe than to territory of Russia. . Makes sense, because they were coming from the east. As it usually happens people mixed, cultures absorbed each other. Modern etnic groups are distantly related to them the same way how modern slavs related to ancient Sintashta culture from Arkaim. Sintashta culture is related to Corded Ware culture. Corded ware was taking part in formation of Slavs, Romans, Germans, etc. It does not make sense to make direct parallels between ancient populations/cultures and modern ones. People migrated and mixed a lot. It is funny like north-Europeans were making reconstructions (from bones and skulls) of ancient people very similar to modern Europeans, tracing haplogroups (Y chromosome type), calling them direct ancestors. Later on paleo genetic analysis techniques improved, bones were thoroughly tested again for other genes/chromosomes - ancient Europeans suddenly appeared to be brown skinned, dark haired and black eyed :) Everyone's ancestors came from Africa through middle east. В общем некорректно аркаимцев в прямые предки русских записывать. В бронзовом веке современные этносы еще не сформировались. Те же аркаимцы (синташтинская культура) родственны культуре шнуровой керамики, которая поучаствовала в этногенезе как славян, так и германцев, римлян и других европейцев. До прихода кельтов, саксов и прочих в Европе уже жила куча народа, которая ассимилировалась пришлыми индоевропейцами, то же самое и по территории России. Границ серьезных не было, климат менялся, народ шарился туда-сюда целыми племенами, попадал в рабство, ездил гастарбайтером за тридевять земель, привозил обратно жен/детей/слуг.
