Nice review. I wanted to see what has changed in the bag since the previous version. It looks like they made two improvements. The front pocket went from a vertical zipper to a horizontal one and the admin pocket looks to be much deeper. One downgrade is that is appears as though they combined the hydration sleeve and laptop sleeve. They were separate in the previous iteration. Not sure if the straps have been fixed but as someone with broader shoulders, I found it difficult to take it on and off and relegated the pack to my kids who it is perfect for. That's why I'm here...wanted to see what the changes were before pulling the trigger on one for the youngest. Thanks!

If it had a stretching outer pocket it would be ideal. Have you found something like that?

how much weight can it carry? with out getting uncomfortable?

Not sure. I didn't keep it. My fjallraven 28l can hold at least 20 pounds and be very comfortable
