What size is the daylite backpack in this video if you don't mind me asking?

Theres a mistake in this review. Both sizes wont offer the exact same features. The Farpoint trek 75 has an extra compartment at the bottom for a sleeping bag or shoes that the 55l doesn't have. This made me go all the way for the 75, because I like to have everything I need in one bag, also go big or go home xD

Hello, im considering buying the Fairview trek 50. Since I am based in India where there are no authorized osprey retailers with available stock, I am ordering the pack with my friend coming to India this week. Her suitcase is of the length of 60cm and the backpack is of 62cm. Is it possible to accomodate the bag in her suitcase, if I remove the aircover and store it separately or is the frame malleable in an way to be squished by 2cm. Please let me know if this is possible at the earliest because she is flying in the next two-three days. I would appreciate a quick response. Thank you for your help

I definitely like the new suspension system...but don’t like that there is No laptop compartment like on the non trek version of the farpoint tho. ☹️

It's definitely a trade-off. Since the back panel is ventilated it has some curvature built into it which obviously doesn't match up perfectly with a laptop compartment. Using a seperate padded laptop sleeve is always an option though, just not quite as convenient.

I got a porter 46 to carry my laptop because this is not a daily use pack. But if you need to fit a laptop in here, all you need is a laptop case and drop it in the main compartment. Its huge!

I feel if you get an osprey daylite plus that can be attached to the back of the osprey treks there are padded laptop sleeves.

No, there isn't.

@@turkeyphant There is a frame, but because it's a ventilated back, it's not traditional "frame stays". There'd be no advantage to cutting it open, and it would almost certainly destroy it.

The man 55L version will fit a woman?

Typically women will choose the Fairview series which in this case comes in a 50L and 70L due to the fact that the suspension system is designed for women, however, in some cases a woman with a long torso may find the Farpoint to fit better as it does adjust taller than the Fairview.
