I agree I like osprey packs. I've had osprey quasar for year now as school bag and it held pretty good I still use the pack today for school I was thinking to upgrade to radial 26 just because I was thinking to commute with bike to school

That's very nice for recreation. A better option for prepping to bug-out is the Belle Structured Fit Baby Carrier. It packs down really small, weighs very little, can be worn on the back or on the front with a backpack on the back, and costs a lot less than these bigger carriers.

Agreed! My wife owns the Belle Baby Carrier and loves it. Definitely a good idea for a BOB.

Thank you for thist great comment - we are now waiting to get the Poco to be delivered ;-))) - did you never miss a side entrance for the kid (like others have > Thule, Deuter)? Is the seat compartment narrow for a child (other reviews critized this...) or the saddle-seat to slim/narrrow to sit comfortably? Greetings Alessandra
@adamb72306 жыл бұрын
Excellent review! Thank you! I love Osprey and I can't wait to get this. It looks uncomfortable for your baby when they're sleeping. Did you find that your baby had any neck pains after napping? Did you find a good solution for a pillow? What ages would you say this would work for?
@april82912 жыл бұрын
Hello, awesome and thorough review. Did you happen to choose it over the Deuter Kid Comfort Pro? I am in between these two and just can’t decide…
@MoranGuyVideos8 жыл бұрын
As you mentioned in the beginning of the video it is little expensive.... need to consider if it worth the money for a limited period of time we are going to travel with our baby From my knowledge this will fit till age of 3 but you probably not going to lift a child more than 2yrs. other than that it seems to be best quality product as all osprey products.
@sunsetadventure22974 жыл бұрын
Great review. We've been using this and the previous edition since our child could hold his head up. We've backpacking in SE Asia, nip to the local shop and hiked long distance in mountains. Used almost weekly and he is now 2 and half- getting heavy now! The sun shade is great, living in a wet country (UK) the rain cover is brilliant too. Most of our friends now own them because they've seen how comfortable it is baby and parent 👌

just like to say thanks for the video. I myself have this model but maybe slightly older in red. Can I ask does this model also have the built in gray changing mat which is located behind the small pack stored in the main frame via a zipper near the bottom? (maybe my model is newer ?) Can I also ask if you are still in contact with Osprey why in the UK we can't buy the optionl rain cover (not even mentioned on there Web site) I had to import mine from USA for $55 :( Also (sorry :) why the rain cover has been changed to green ? This is an odd colour of choice I think as from a distance in bad weather on a dark road it could be taken as a green traffic light "go", In the UK road and rail workers use the safer colour orange partly for this reason. Also where can I buy a replacement mirror as I can't find one advertised. Still love the carrier .ta.

I'm looking at getting one of these for an upcoming hiking trip similar to yours but my child is closer to 2. would this be too small for that age? is there one for a slightly older toddler who isn't yet ready to hike?

Quite a few Cons for the price. But I like how the baby looks comfortable and faces forward. Instead of seeing where you've been Like a traditional papoose.
@TheUrbanPrepper8 жыл бұрын
The cons were more of suggested improvements. The price is high, but I feel like that expense is minimal compared to what the baby gets to now experience. Those are priceless family moments, IMO. Thanks for watching!

I have both that and Deuter. The osprey is the winner by far

Thanks Kik! Wait until you're ready for the babies. It definitely will change the way your life is structured. Totally worth it though. I really like the Buff hats. Mrs. UP now wants one too. The Mountain RN first introduced me to the Buff hat and it's been working out great for me.

This is the worst hip belt design ever. Took it out once and it was a painful experience. No one in the family wants to wear it because the hip belt is extremely thin and hard digging into the hips. Read the reviews and you’ll see that I’m not the only one, I thought they would’ve fixed this by now but i guess not. Our first Osprey product and now probably our last, our old raggedy Dueter Kid Comfort II is more comfortable than this. This was such a waste of money and would not recommend this to anyone.
