On the topic of travelling, we used our Poco Premium (now discontinued, but essentially the Poco Plus, but the additional storage behind the child is a separate removable daypack) for a 3 week long tour of Japan when our child was ~2 years old. The Poco itself was classed as a "stroller" by the airlines that we dealt with, and so it was transported at no additional cost. The main thing I love about the Poco, and I'm not sure if it's the case with the LT, is that the rigid arms either side of the child give a very stable cockpit, especially when actually putting a squirming kiddo into the carrier.

Thanks for your feedback, really useful to hear. The “pod” in the LT is less rigid that the Poco and Poco Plus, but it still “contains!” the child well. Obviously in all the carriers it’s the straps that keep the child from physically wriggling out.

Thank you for the review and help me decide what to buy. I love Poco Plus because it’s look more comfortable for kid and parents. But I just ordered Poco LT the reason why because I live in the town and I’m not a fan for hiking. My partner started to go back to work and I have to be home alone with 8 months old boy and two small dogs (Boston terrier). It’s so hard for me from the past two weeks that I have to go to walk dogs with baby stroller from our apartment. I can’t imagine what will look like in this Winter so I decided to buy Poco lt to help me to carry baby and can make a good walk for dogs during my partner at work. Some baby carrier that simple and quick adjustment, not too big for walk in the town and also safe for baby. I can’t wait for the Poco LT to deliver this coming week.

Great, sounds like you’ve made a good choice. You’ll have two hands free now to hold on the the dogs. Getting outside with a baby (especially in the winter) makes all the sleep deprivation a bit more manageable… good luck!

Did you cover the amount of storage? You say the poco is better for longer trips but theres not the same amount of storage. Would the LT be better for multiday?

Hi, actually for multi day trips if you are walking a lot I would take the Poco Plus - it's fundamentally the Poco but with more under seat storage.

Hi there, We are taking our toddler of 22 months for a holiday in the Rockies in Canada. Planning to do hikes that are max 3hrs. Would you recommend the Poco LT? We really want to travel light as we have a lot of things to pack in our suitcases for our 3+ wks trip. I was also wondering how flat the Poco would be when its folded?

Hi there, I think you'll have to compromise here. If I was doing 3 hr hikes I would opt for the Poco not the Poco LT. I'm afraid I can't measure the compressed depth for you on the Poco at the moment as we are sold out.... But I would estimate that it is about three times as deep when compressed as the LT.

I have an 8 month old and I want a carrier for daily dog walks but probably only of max an hour per day. Would the LT suffice for this or would you say they Poco is better for frequent use? Thanks

Hi, if your going to use it every day I would be tempted to go for the Poco. The adult harness is more comfortable, so it's probably a better buy if your going to be using it regularly.

Hello, my child is 2 years old( is my first kid) , so which one can i choose?
@LittleAdventureShop2 жыл бұрын
Hi, the weight of the child makes no difference to which carrier you choose, they both have the same weight limits. If you are planning to use it to several hours at a time or very regularly; for example hiking or daily dog walks I think the Poco may be a better option as it has more padding and wriggle room for your child, and a more padded harness system for you. If you are planning to use the carrier in an urban environment or mostly taking it away on holiday for walks on the beach - that kind of thing; then the Poco LT might be best as it has a more narrow profile so you are less likely to bash into things if you are in and out of shops and and folds down much smaller for travel and storage. Hope this helps!
