This is a great starting guide to demonstrate entry to the boss. Most important point to note is the fact you can run past the walls as long as you dodge the shadows. You're doing a few things you didn't quite explain though that will help people speed up. Few points from me that will speed up kills without much hassle: -BGS spec this boss to death -Use a better pickaxe -Arclight > Fang (appreciate this video is pre-update) -Use the eye stage to heal/pot or you can get an extra hit in if careful. -When running across, get another hit in on the boss as you pass the last vent (you're doing this in the video). -Use a ring of suffering to take advantage of chip damage. -Use a serp helm for poison (can't venom Duke) -Just get the pet.

Great feedback and great advice. These guides are just to get you into the boss and get your first few KC. I’m trying to balance consistency without trying to overload people with too many mechanics and put them off going because they’re overwhelmed with information I’ll pin this comment so people will able to see your tips and tricks. Why not use void waker in stead of bgs

@@TonyDAnnunzio voidwaker damage is nothing compared to the increased damage of your main weapon with bgs since duke has higher def

Nope aslong as you use the marked tiles and stick to the wall you don’t stand on a tile it can hit you. Just need to avoid the black portals. 😄

not many people give the floor markers, very kind of you, just finished my first 100 kills. sometimes the smoke blobs when getting mushrooms stun me which can be annoying so i leave and redo hoping they dont burn my perfect kill

Runelite - better NPC highlight - true tile drop down box. Then in Tile ID type 12198 and that’s your vents highlighted. All that’s left is to pick your colour! Any problems, drop me a message and we will get it sorted for you.

Also the only time you need to be behind the pillar for the freeze special is when the ice barrage sound plays so you can one tick it so you get an extra possible hit

They are the rows between the gas vents that are safe mate! Just helps not accidentally stand on the wrong row 🙂

Thanks pal, i tend to use DDS as it hits harder and you get more specs. But any spec weapon you have will see the job through 😊

@@Daddy_ScapeArclight isn’t for spec, once the boss goes in to enrage it becomes 4 tick so it’s better to use Arclight>Fang to match the attack speed of Duke.

Very true mate and good advice. Going from DDS spec to fang you don’t lose any ticks. When they nerf the fang, arc light will most likely be the go to for this boss. Just depends if you want to burn through its charges here or not.
