Went in thinking nah it can’t be that easy. Then found the lvl 45 spawn in that spot after a few searches. Went through the waves, safe spotted jad and calmed down, took healers behind the rock, and finished jad. First time after all these years. Thank you.

yes my g, had 3 Jad attempts before this, died at Jad each time. Tried this method worked first time - did have to kill the healers 3 times before I managed to get them before they fully healed Jad. Mad respect on your name. Subbed

This did it for me. Many thanks for sharing this method. To anyone who is still struggling with the healers (sometimes you get 3 of them and 1 gets stuck in the back for example), you can bring some chinchompas to aggro several of them at once. That's what I did in combination with this safespot method, and it worked first attempt after previously dying 5 times to Jad once the healers came out.

I DID IT!!! After 8 failures (trying different spots/equipment/Jad methods), I found your guide and it worked FIRST TRY. Note that two healers were agro'd on me, but got stuck near Jad so I was able to kill two on the first safe spot run, then I had to go back around and get the other 2 guys to follow and killed them in the safe spot. Holy fuck I would not have done it without your 3rd wave tip. For anyone wondering, I went full guthix god d'hide, fury, war blessing, granite gloves, archers ring, accumulator and toxic blowpipe with 2k dragon darts. I also stayed at long rock, better than italy rock. Dude I will paypal you $15 for this....

Biiigggg note that the healers will continue spawning if they manage to get him back to full health 😩 every single video I’m seeing shows this method, but I did it and they respawned 4 times until I finally ran out of supplies. It feels like they respawn if they even get one heal done to him /: gonna try lining them up but I’m so sad lol excellent video btw by far the best guide I’ve seen. My dude, what a godly strat, had to try it twice with your strat and I got it! If I may add another tip: 1) Go on the osrs wiki and check spawn rotations 2) check the google doc that has spawn rotations. 3) there are 3 spawn rotations out of 15 possible rotations where the 45 mob spawns on South east 4) the google doc is live updated 5) Wait for the doc indicate one of the 3 rotations that has wave 3 on south east spawn 6) go in and kill jad 7) fire cape

If you're using a blowpipe, you could stop attacking the last 360 at about 25% HP and just let the venom kill it while you run over to the safe spot. Takes out any chance he gets a free shot off on you while you run over.

THIS GOT ME MY FIRST FIRE CAPE. Second try (first time I didn’t know about this tip). I avoided this for so long. Thank you for the tip. Made it so much easier. For those curious, it took me 1hr 55 mins (twice as long as I actually expected lol.) 71 ranged, 73 def, 66 prayer. Used blessed d’hide, verac’s helm, book of law, archer ring, rcb, diamond bolts (e), barrows gloves and a fury. Used dragon darts on jad and healers. Inventory was 1 range pot, 11 brews and the rest super restores.

BTW this is really important and cool: I read a comment on another video that there's a way to force the Jad spawn to be here so you don't have to do trial and error. Just got it done literally right now, after 5 or so attempts, came here to leave my thanks. Last time the healers fucked me up as I was completely unprepared to deal with them. This has the be the best way to deal with the healers. Also recommend "how to cheese fight caves" video and combine it with this video. "Rotations" sounded really sweaty at first, but it helped greatly (there's 3 out of 15 chances of jad spawning in this southeastern spot). I happened to have rotation 5, which showed the healers spawning behind me. Easy to agro, just always keep in mind the "1 action for every 1 prayer". After the healers died, it was just waiting patiently and hoping Aussie internet doesn't fuck me over... To any btw's that are unsure, you don't need a blowpipe or sara brews. Karil's xbow does the job. Anyway, thanks so much for the chill guide!

I legit have PTSD from Jad. Probably died 7 times on him at least, all super stupid mistakes. I was just ridden with anxiety whenever he showed up, made me quit the game a year ago. Came back this month and decided I'd give it another go but needed to do something different. Got some Defense and range levels up, did the Jad practice thing, and then looked for strats. ive trieds to kill jad roughly 30 times in my life. i always end up freaking out on healer phase. The FIRST time i tried this after seeing the guide and i FINALLY killed Jad. Thanks for the informative video, subscription earned good sir :)

LETS GOOOOOO! This method is the one. After 5 attempts and got it on the 6th! I read a comment about using a google doc on the wiki which tells his spawns. You want the SE one! This will save you leaving and entering (and having to wait 5 mins) Also helps if you want to do this task when on a slayer task because if you leave the cave after entering on task then you'll instantly end it. After nine tries, this is the strategy that got me my first ever fire cape. My previous runs, I got too low from the healers and panicked. This strat deals with the healers and make jad so much easier. Can't recommend enough! Thank you so much for making this!

bro this is what did it for me, thanks so much! this was WAY easier. You can even reset to fully heal up if u took a wrong prayer. I didn't need it, but that spot will allow you to.

After ten unsuccessful tries with a blowpipe, I was going broke because I was running out of money charging and loading my blowpipe. I went to practice with a dragon hunter bow (Runite Bolts) after watching this video and could not believe I got my first fire cape! Thank you!

Thank you so much. It worked like a dream. After 4 botched attempts always dying to healers respawning or getting stuck healing him while dpsing me was really making me fustrated. This tutorial combined with my past experience hammered it home and I got my first fire cape.

This might be 2 years too late but I want to say thank you. I watched your video and I pushed myself to try it. I didn’t get the first three rotation until I backed out 5 times, but when I got it I was ready. When I got to the final 2 Magers I knew this was it. When I ran to the safe spot and I saw Jad not attacking I calmed down. Potted up and went for it. Healers came out and I used Chinchompas to get the Aggro from the furthest ones. Once I was able to focus on both Jad and the healers following me to the safe spot I knew right then and there it’s game over for him. All I had to focus on was just him and the prayers. Got my first fire cape after first attempt with this video. Thank you.

Failed around 8-9 times on Jad, just couldn’t work around the healers. My first time trying this method it worked perfect, thanks very much mate. Also recommend chinning Jad when the healers come, was much easier to get them all to follow me without clicking each indiviually and having to worry about the prayer flicking. Liked and subbed!
