For the lighthouse task, take time to memorize when to use which overhead, and THEN attempt the task. If you're stressed you can take a breather at each of the rest points he mentions, then continue when you're ready. If you know what you're doing won't be in much danger. An important tip for mitigating damage is to KEEP MOVING. if you have to stop in the middle of a room to remember what to do next it can very well kill you if you get unlucky with their hits.

73 combat with 51 def - 2 ppots, 2 stamina pots and sharks/karambwans, red dhide armour and only ate 5 food. Thanks for the guide :) resting spots helped as well to watch the next parts of the video. I strongly advise everyone to use the resting spots to do the video in parts to avoid confusion, especially with what prayer to use. It only took me 10 minutes to do the whole thing :)

for anyone struggling with the lighthouse: after a couple of failures, I used the video exclusively as an audio guide, was able to land it perfectly following slayermusiqs sweet tender voice. might not work for everyone but figured id share!

Thanks again, great guide. SUGGESTION to ALL! Do not wear your weight-reducing armour when taking the 'Shortcut' to the lighthouse. Wear God blessed Dragon Hide such as Sara D'hide instead and just bring the extra stamina pot. Helps a lot when you are too late with the prayer switches or when some floor have both missiles and mages. I died on a level 98 combat, because of 3 25 hits and once. dont make the same mistake as me

Run through the entirety of dangerous maze cavern with enemies that attack with different styles and trying to swarm you, also try avoid going down to where the Dagannoth Kings are if this is your first time there. Weird how the "medium" diary was more difficult than the "hard" one, lmao. Almost got ko'ed by those walruses when I entered a room without prayer on because I did not expect them to use magic.

Waterbirth Island to Lighthouse videos are mainly tanking but if you do it solo it can be easier than what you think. I just done, it second attempt; Combat Level 86, 68 Defence, 51 prayer with 2 prayer doses, 3 stamina pot doses and 5 monkfish. What I learned from my first attempt is that it's easy to use most if not all Rock Crab/Rock Lobster zones as rest points which most videos on KZbin aren't showing. Always activate the relevant prayer before going into the next room because they hit so quickly, and not just one it could be up to 4 that hit you simultaneously. Try not to panic and remember to eat because some zones are mixed combat melee/range etc so you will take hits. Fix up at your rest points & move on. If you notice, there are more melee zones (your best rest spots) than magic/ranged zones, just take your time. I agree that this should definitely be a hard or elite task though, I underestimated this the first time & nearly died like I'm sure a lot of other people have! Hope this advice helps

If you are like me and spent about 10 minutes wondering why you couldn't get the pet rock task done. Make sure you have 'Allow pets to roam" checked or the rock won't show up.

Guys, like some of you, i almost died, thankfully i always carry an emergency teleport. Remember, if you die on that dungeon, you lost ALL your items, cant get it back, so, do that diary task last. I bought 2 stamina potion, 4 prayer pots, 4 saradomin brews just in case, and 16 sharks (dont forget pet rock and emergency tele - i.e. a varrock tablet teleport) Wear 3 decent armour that you can tank for some def, i used helm of netiznot, barrows gloves and fighter torso. I also wear a guthix g'hide chaps (in the event i do die, there is minimal loss) When you use the rune battleaxe special att, right click the climb down ladder immediately, if you stay around, you will get pawned easily When you are in danger, - out of food/pots etc, just tele out and try again, its not so overwhelming when you realised when to use prayer as you can tell from the mobs All the best :)

people usually die in the dungeon because they get crossed up/confused and lost. Just write down the prayer switches after each ladder and you'll be perfectly fine. Wear some range armor so it's easier to take hits if you happen to get crossed up with the prayers. I'm level 95 and all I needed was 1 stamina pot and 1 prayer bot, a couple of sharks. Don't worry about people saying they died or almost died, it's a walk in the park if you just watch the video and write prayers down.

Random add: if you are not getting the medium diary update for having traveled to Fremennik Hunter region by Eagle, you have to click USE ROPE and THEN click the Eagle, and not just click "Travel Eagle." Took me 10 minutes to figure out but I could not proc the achivement until doing it exactly in that modality.

I'm an idiot you can't complete pet rock task if your in building mode. Make sure you build the menagerie and then leave building mode then deposit pet rock inside. Then your rock will be randomly on your house floor,then pick it up.

Pretty low ngl making the guide not solo friendly for dagonnoths. Friend tanks as you breeze, daggonoths will range AND melee 15's cutting you like butter. Edit: Tank gear is a MUST. One point swaps from Rock Lobs to mage seals. Seals very accurate, sniped an easy 20 midst prayer swapping. DEDICATE A FULL INV OF POTS/FOOD if first time, or even HCIM status seeing some comments.
