RuneScape is one of my favorite games ever made, but I've always been bothered that a lot of important items/content is locked behind quests. Quests are fun, yeah, but I hate the idea of spamming multiple quests as fast as possible just to make a good account. Questing can be kinda exhausting due to how much walking around you have to do, not to mention really frustrating quests like Underground Pass existing.

For anyone really wondering about the new quests. I would say fit Cursed Sands and Night at the theatre in the last 10 or so that you do. I have 4 quests left and I already finished both of those. The skill requirements for these quests is insane. Iv had this video up for like 3-4 months now following along with it. So close to finishing

One thing I like about other guides is it says what skill to use the xp lamps in that you get from some of the quests to reduce skulking time I would recommend putting that in

I know it's two years since this question was asked, but in case any new players still want to know, the answer is subjective. Put them in whatever skills you find time consuming or expensive to level, such as Agility (time sink) and Construction (expensive). You may want to put lamps into Slayer because it is time consuming, someone else might prioritize Runecraft because it's a good money maker but they find it tedious. Another thing to consider is if your character is an Ironman/Ironwoman, in which case you may want to focus on something like herblore as it may take quite a while to gather all the herbs yourself. So then, what skills don't you want to spend lamps on? Easy - don't put lamps into skills you find fun! :)

Thank you so much for this optimal quest order! I've been following this guide on my account since its very first quest and the quest order is *superb* for efficiency. While this quest order is already incredibly efficient, the only thing I wish I had in the google doc / video was a suggestion on how to spend xp rewards for quests that give significant lamps or xp training. I now have 244 quest points and the cape is just around the corner. Thanks again mate for the 5 star content!

Animal Magnetism at 70? I understand this list is in an order of least skills required, but it also pushes some important account unlocks until much later, like the ectophial, fairy rings, etc

BECAREFUL - SKIP "A Porcine of interest" till much later - you CANNOT possibly take down sourhog that early in the game. The rest of the list seems quite alright to do - but you definitely need a much higher defence and strength before attempting that one. (Preferably when you get your black armor at least with 20 attack and strength.)

Fight arena should be on the first list as it has no requirements and boosts thieving. Along with another quest (which I can't remember) from the first list means you don't need to train it for the second list.

That's not osrs. You don't have regular stuff. You are always adapting to your environment. If you never do that then you will always be left behind. Just adapt to w.e is the best for your skills and you will always be ahead

Looking at and accomplishing the list here: PORCINE OF INTEREST - I can understand it being there as you get your first Slayer task out of it but it involves taking down a lv. 37 enemy and for that it makes less sense to be at the top, luckily I was lv. 32.

Pretty good roadmap. Of course, some of these quests can be done much more earlier on your account. As for Ironmen , I’d recommend getting the Easy Ardougne Diary completed asap for the Ardy Cloak Teleport, Get Fairy Rings as early as possible and the Natural History Quiz to get a good kickstart on some exp. And whenever there is a skill choice for your experience rewards from quests use it on Agility or something that is really slow to train in your early levels.

I feel like this is as well thought out as it needs to be as opposed to as well as it could. Perhaps creating a item list per cluster of quest allowed to buy from GE. For example I like to do quest in the current order provided but in incriminates of 5 and it would be nice to have a quick list of all the items needed. Sure I can do it myself as I click from guide to guide but it would be so nice to have items ready to go as I just follow instructions.

Very few items are actually difficult for ironmen to obtain, magic logs for DT and the nature talisman for Fairy Tale PT1 are the notably difficult things to obtain

Would it be possible to update the doc to include when it would be best to complete diaries? Because the XP rewards from those diaries could shorten the skilling times for some of those skills

I suppose it possibly could. But generally you’re going to spend the same amount, if not more time getting the requirements and then completing the tasks as you would questing or leveling the skills yourself. I’m not sure it would make much difference in the grand scheme of things.

Literally started following this order because i just paid for a bond. Did all F2P quests except Dslayer1 and more. Then they randomly banned me today for "Macroing Major" says botting. Everything was going fine and dandy... until Quest Cluster #2 => "Fight Arena" I like how it goes from Hit and Run quests, to basic collecting and then a level 120+ god before Doing the Dragon Quest I XD
