You can substitute Crystal bow btw, at Bandos w full crystal armor the DPS really isnt much worse. Not ideal, but if someone is turbo dry on enh its a good second option

Not a bad shout. I actually didn't realize the armor worked on the regular crystal bow. Would probably have to change up the food situation quite a bit though. The bowfa is much stronger than the regular crystal bow though. Saying the dps is not that different is a bit of a stretch.

@@ZuksBrother Well as someone who has done hundreds of kills at Bandos with both a Crystal bow and Bowfa, I can promise you its not THAT much different. Bowfa is only a 20% damage increase at Bandos. At most other places its much more noticeable. In the grand scheme of things 20% when you're taking little to no damage walking in a line is not that different :)

It's actually still a 20% difference my guy, which is quite a lot. Players who are watching a guide probably aren't going to be able to flick the minions while they run. So there will in fact, be damage occurring.

@@ZuksBrother Downgrading certain items like Anguish > Fury, Assembler > Accumulator and Archers ring > suffering will also result in a large DPS decrease (10%), but like you said in your video "dont overthink it". Watching a guide on a specific method doesnt mean someone is garbage and cant flick a minion btw. I'm unsure why you're acting like a pompous prick in the comments on your worse version of GeChallengeM's guide but go off king. I'd recommend anyone watching go check out the latter if you NEED something thats at least 20% better than this.

@randy833 I never said anyone was trash. I don't flick the minions while I run. I'm unsure why you're name calling and getting worked up. I'm just saying most people are gonna take some damage, and that 20% is 20% even if you're running in a straight line. I didn't realize that was going to be so aggravating. Yeah man sometimes the minions slap. Some folks have told me they've prayer flicked while continuing altar door, but my def lvl isn't that high, and crystal armor is made of paper. So as long as your not getting hit by Graardor, you're doin' it right. Let me know if ya need help!

Since I have relatively low defense, I think that I would. Especially since I'm wearing an anguish. Probably not a huge deal either way though in my opinion.

I agree with wearing suffering as your main concern is to not have to eat during the fight, since it screws up your rythm. Minions can slap sometimes 😅

I wouldn't. It's a 30-50 second fight and sometimes RNG likes to hit ya with some double minion hits. Probably better to stick with blowpipe

I just started learning bandos after getting my enh. I went to Sammy first as I had a task and was able to learn the 8:0 method pretty easily. Now I’m doing the 9:0 cannon method at bandos. This looks way more chill. I can do the 9:0 method just fine, but should I switch? Pros and cons to each?

I only did it this way, honestly. I chose it because of the chill factor. I knew I was grinding out full bandos, for the series on my channel. I knew I was staying to grind out full Bandos and hilt, so I wanted something that wasn't incredibly intensive. I'd imagine, you get faster kc with 9:0, and maybe even longer trips.

D:A (if done correctly) can almost be done without staminas. Few things: Drop the ahrims, weighs a ton (taking run energy) and doesn’t increase dmg. Instead, take torm. and occult and just take off crystal body and legs. You’ll be fine and hit way higher.

It will not unfortunately. It was pointed out to me that the regular crystal bow, has the same speed and range as the bowfa. That is really the only potential substitute. Thanks for watching man!

you def dont need ahrims, neutral (0) mage bonus is more than enough

You're not wrong. Bringing ahims just allows the minions to go down faster, and prevents you from taking extra damage if you miss some flicks. I also find it easier to switch gear quickly, than unequip gear quickly.
