Thank you!...I am loving these canal walks with atmospheric music...( I have to admit makes me 'tear up' a bit lol , I just wish my Dad were alive to enjoy them too). In childhood I spent many happy years in the 1970's cruising up and down these waterways and manning the locks with my parents on their pleasure boat which they moored at Dewsbury Canal Basin for many years. We moved to Lincolnshire in the 1980's so I have not been back to visit these waterways since. This is a real treat and I'm pleased to see the water and tow paths look a lot cleaner than I remember :-)

God, I remember doing the walk the other way as a young kid, and being surprised by British Rail Class 40 029 "Samaria" barrelling through Healey Mills on a Parcels train. I think I was only 7.
