That would be nice, but I wouldn't wager on someone under agreements with Bioware would spill the beans in such an obvious manner. If that were the case, you would be under quite heavy law-breaking. Not to mention, ghost writers aren't needed for projects as big as that, they have their teams for that, and if they indeed are employed from time to time, it wouldn't be for main storyline, it wouldn't even get close. We're all excited for DA4, but there is no need for shady info in order to make the excitement bigger ;)

I've always thought Sandal's prophecy means Solas will succeed in tearing down the Veil and restoring all of the lost magic. I have pages (unposted) of fanfiction for my Inquisitor having to deal with an onslaught of demons, powerful dark mages, and eventually Solas himself, with all of his power as a god restored. (My Inquisitor saves him and proves he fucked up instead of killing him since I always promise that at the end of Trespasser.)

Liu theres one detail you need to consider. Theres proof in game that mankind and the other races emerged only after the fall of arlathan. And this quickening as disproven by trespasser is just mere coincidence because man appeared around the time the tales of immortality told by their predecessors turned out to be false as they aged and died. Also, Solas told the inquisitor the restoration of the elven world would mean certain death to "your kind". He also puts it in a way that man's extinction will be collateral damage in the process of bringing the fade back. All of this points to one thing...the elven world's environmental conditions are fatal for humans and the rest(Blackmarsh from DA:O kinda proves this wrong, but it was the fade itself, its not clear what properties the physical world will have when merged with the fade). Whatever the inquisitor has to do, it has to be done before the veil is destroyed.

It is wild to me what a switch Trespasser was. I was so...meh, through 'most' of Inquisition. But it was like that one short epilogue totally turned it around, caught me by surprise. Suddenly, for a brief few moments at the very end, I finally really 'cared', I was compelled.

Trespasser was bioware writing at it's peak. Easily up there with some of the greatest DLC as far as I'm concerned. I hope they learn from their mistakes with andromeda and anthem and get back on form for DA4. They can't afford to mess up another game. Dragon age is bioware's magnum opus and DA4 is the perfect opportunity to redeem themselves.

@Cathal logging online to your bioware/ea account (via the game itself), syncing your achievements, uploading/syncing save files to the cloud, multiplayer, the golden nug. basically, every function that requires you to be online for it to work is a live service element. so far we were not forced to be online to play the game and there is no indication that would change. live service elements is a very vague term and at the end if the day we still don't know what it will entail for dragon age, so it's a bit premature to worry about.

When used by Humans to 'kill the infidels' or the Elves 'kill the shemlen", those are expected justifications using 'we are good, they are evil' and are very common for all known history and that's what your referring to or when one side justifies doing inhumane actions actions against the other. But you do realize that most soldiers when they're on the battlefield, the concepts of 'for the glory of X doesn't exist, right?' Well, outside of the DA universe at least. But if Good and Evil didn't exist outside of the the petty morality you feel governments feed soldiers as the only reason they go to die, than the world should be infinitely different than how it is. If there really was no Good or Evil, people wouldn't really object to mass killings, executions, outside of their own small group or country, it didn't happen here or harm them, so why should they care even if ta government says it's 'evil'. It's still not them. The same goes for individuals who endure severe hardships while helping others far from them for no other reason other than it needed to be done or it was the right thing. Why would they act for no reason without the government telling them to do this?

Trevor Morris really did such a fantastic job with the soundtrack of this game. As much as I loved Inon Zur's soundtrack for DAO and a few tracks from DA2, his time was done with the franchise. Trevor's soundtrack really breathed new life into the franchise that it desperately needed, especially after DA2. Songs like this and the main theme do such an amazing job giving this game and franchise the feeling of grand scale. I hope they bring back Trevor for the next game.

I've always loathed that saying. Almost all roads, good or bad, are paved with good intentions. That phrase is almost always used in a way to dismiss compassion as if compassion doesn't generally lead to better and more wholesome lives. Solas is not mistaken in his intentions, in the countless deaths he'll have, in the result of his ambition. He is clever, much cleverer than those who mean to do a good thing and are unaware of its cost. He's factored in the cost and still believes it's worth pursuing because, to him, this world is a mere shadow, a murky reflection to what it once was, and he knows it to be true *because he lived and ruined it himself.*

A very underrated piece of music. I want to climb a mountain to this. Finally finished this dang game after having bought it three years ago. I'm still emotionally not ok lol. What a great game. What amazing writing. The music! The characters! The lore! The geography! The art! Everything about it! I love this world! My heart is bursting! We dont even know yet what has Flemeth sent through the eluvian. And the inquisitor will not be champion of anything as: 1- Not every inquisitor drinks from thw well (as you mentioned) 2- The inquisitor will not even be the main character next game. 3- Whatever Flemeth sent through the eluvian, is definitely more related to Morrigan.

I knows its practically tradition to be a new character for every dragon age, but I hope we get to be our inquisitor again. I feel Solas as the main baddy, plus the personal ties we form with him have it set up that the Inquisitor has to be either at the forefront of the story or the main character again. For the arm, some kind of cool arcane magically grafted arm that works along the lines of the anchor.

One thing I wish they had done was reveal Solas as the Dread Wolf in Tresspasser, instead of at the end of the campaign. We the players were already being blown away by all of the revelations in this DLC, finally revealing Solas's true nature at the end would have just been an unreal twist. Still amazing game overall.

Actually there are hidden codex you can find to reveal who Solas really is when completing tresspaser, if you mean by "reveal" Solas real identity as dread wolf. On the last dialogue with Solas you can choose to call Solas by dread wolf if you find all 4 of those codex

I cannot see Solas as an evil character. actually, he was a hero for his people. He fought alone against the more powerful beings of his time and realized the only way to save the world and his people was to vanish them. So he created the veil and in doing so, everything he loved and cared just fucked up. So he intend to fix something that was not supposed to happen... The current world exist because of his doing... the current world is a mistake. I really can understand his doings... let's hope there is a way to torn apart the veil and restore the older world without the massive killing...

Mass Effect: Andromeda was bad but people already had a bad taste in their mouth because of Mass Effect 3's ending. Battlefront 2 was absolutely stunningly horrible (at launch), but people already hated the first Battlefront, so no big worries. Nobody expected Anthem to be good, so whatever. But Dragon Age 4? Inquisition was amazing, people loved it and so did critics. If they fuck that one up with this live service bullshit (especially after Jedi: Fallen Order clearly showed (to EA, other publishers don't need to be shown) there is a commercial interest in single player games), people will riot.

They will have to devise a new character to attract new players and make the game marketable even for people who have not played DA so far. But nevertheless, what I at least hope is that they can give us the choice to play as inquisitor or as a new character. That would be the fair thing in my opinion. And then the "new people" would just be new companions. As for the Inquisitor's disability, there have been heroes in stories with disabilities. If the writers are smart enough they can actually turn the disability into an asset.
